I installed this as an exhaust fan to my CPU radiator and it drops my cpu temps from 40C idle to 33C idle. When gaming it went from 55C to 45C. Now I don't ever have a difficulty overheating. Incredible what a single fan can do. None, it performs great. Wish the light was a darker blue but oh effectively. Finding a second one to place on my the side of my HAF 912 Case to retain the GPU card cool.

Pretty blue LEDs if you are into that. Bought 4 fans... two of the four I will have to manually spin to begin them. I even attempted to compensate by boosting the voltage but no dice. Most items by Rosewill are remarkable for the cost, and I am genuinely shocked by this. I can only assume I have to have gotten fans from a terrible batch. I see other purchasers have had improved luck, so buy at your own danger. You can frequently RMA.

Really good airflow, the LEDs are just as they looked in pics, the variable speed is fantastic for when I'm gaming, I can turn it up for the wonderful temp, and turn it down when I'm just surfing the net none so far would be a neat addition if the LEDs had variable brightness.

Applied it as intake fan in front of case, is somewhat quiet. The blue led looks nice showing via the grill in front of my case. Open full throttle it shows about 2000 rpm. Folks have complained the lead is also brief and had to use the controller, effectively you don't, use just the wire that goes to the controller as an extension cord and it will reach anywhere in your case, but do the opposite of what it says, plug the lead from the fan into the the connector that says "to controller" then plug it into your mobo. None

Operates exactly as it should. Looks cool with the leds. It is loud on the higher speeds, but this 1 has a controller to regulate speed, and therefore the noise level. The controller is a bit low cost and fragile, handle cautiously when installing. No directions included, first time builders may possibly be confused on what goes exactly where.

Looks fantastic. Rosewill has decent merchandise and CS. Well their CS did when they 1st entered the industry... Pretty silent and durable. Fan manage has pros and cons if you have the space and require. three of the four LED's went out and are dead inside half of the use life of this fan. Tricky to clean and becomes noisy earlier than expected. Hard balance among bloat/glitter and efficiency/durability. Want greater performance and durability. You're mostly paying for the LED's and the fan control...

The double-ball bearing design must last very a bit longer than price range sleeve-bearing fans. They are my favorite color (when they're on, at least... Off they are just clear.) They are also incredibly bright, which I like. excellent value, looks excellent, performs Fan RPM not rapid enough to exhaust all the air out of my new case set up rapidly enough. I had to a lot of fans pulling air into the case, air was blowing out the front empty two 5.25 bays.I removed one side 120 fan and that aided but still not sufficient air getting exhausted.Will will need to get at least a 3000 rpm fan to pull the air out more rapidly for better cooling.

Fantastic airflow and pretty quiet. I installed this to replace the aging stock fan that came with my case, and this one particular is not as loud AND cools better. The speed manage is a nice function, and the LEDs appear great. It's loud at quicker settings, but unless you're operating a lot of intensive stuff and/or overclocking, you possibly don't need to turn up the speed anyways. The LEDs are quite bright. I adore it, but I know some people today like a far more subtle appear to their rig. Overall it's a wonderful fan for a excellent value!

The max speed and (when employing the manage nob) the min speed of the fan are in a great range of a little as well loud but pushing alot of air to almost silent.Modest but effortless to adjust controller nob. Great brightness on leds (their brightness dims a tiny when lowering fanspeed). The 120mm fan appears additional like 122mm, very tight fit in some situations but most 120mm spots it would not be noticed.The controller has to be plugged into a molex connector even tho it has a 3 pin connector. This is alot of excess wires, a .1 amp much less power draw would have created it straightforward to just run from a 3pin fan header on the motherboard.Given that this is a led fan it is usually meant to be observed although a situation window, so the excess wiring sucks.The fan controller gets warm to the touch. Newegg lists the fan speed as 1200-2200 rpm but with the fan controller turned down it gets to about 1050-1077rpm. Really quiet at that level, but still sufficient to keep phenom 2s beneath 70f idle and 118f following a couple hours of gaming.

moves alot of air and isnt very loud. it moves just as considerably air on low as the old fan did on high. do not use the fan controller on low unless you place some sort of heatsink on the voltage regulator on it. it WILL burn up if you run it on low for a lengthy period of time without having a heatsink on it. i dont assume the regulator is created for a fan that draws .6amps. i place a ram sink on it with a bread tie and its working flawless. the fan controller was naturally refurbished from seeking at it. the regulator must of burnt up and they replaced it. a straightforward heat sink fixes the problem. you would consider they would test it and fix the difficulty eh? other then the fan controller the fan is astounding! highly suggested. i bought it to replace the stock fan in my corsair nautilus 500 and it looks cool also. i ended up employing the fan controller on a various fan that uses less power then the fan it came with and it works excellent.

Soothing blue, quiet, good controller, straightforward installation. I've observed these elsewhere for ŭ.99, so shipping isn't actually no cost, NE is just constructing it into the value. Added 2 of these to a Rosewill Challenger situation that came with 3 fans of it's own ƒ of them w/blue leds), so my rig is like a blue cat 5 hurricane lol. I love to watch as ice types around the mesh in front of my hdd array.

Low value for a fan with a speed controller, Clear casing is nice seeking, blue LEDs function. Also comes with plenty of wire and a grill cover. You want the fan controller to slow this fan down and maintain it from creating a high pitch whining sound, the LEDs are a washed out blue when fan is slowed down. They really should do away with the grill cover (who needs it ) and use the funds on a quieter motor.
