Affordable, easy to use. Decent length cables. Ɠ' or so) Newegg replaced it beneath warranty when it broke 8 months later. No keyboard strokes to switch from pc1 to pc2. Manual button only.Took twice contacting newegg since they told me I required to speak to Rosewill, but rosewill told me to go to the retailer. So back to newegg. A small inconvenient. I bought december 2008 on a promo @ ฟ and free shipping. I bought two. One stopped switching. (First Pc that boots wins).

Great KVM at a wonderful cost. The only con is the button to switch in between computers, just feels low-cost. But other then that it's a fantastic KVM

Easy hook up, cables lengthy adequate for what I required it for. Didn't final practically as long as other branded KVM's I've owned (and nevertheless personal). Seems to be a recurring theme with a lot of folks right here! Worked terrific.......whilst it worked! But in my opinion, should have lasted longer. Worked terrific one particular day, I moved from an apartment to a house I bought, and it spent a couple of days packed in a box. Guess it's a tempermental piece of gear, mainly because it didn't operate when it came out of the box I put it in!

Fast switching in between computers No Audio port, no DVI Would be good if it had an audio port. Good KVM switch for the value!

So far, so good. Easy set up. Running a desktop computer and a laptop laptop or computer connected to my LCD monitor and usb wireless mouse and wireless keyboard (each with their own receiver. Every little thing works fine with desktop (Vista) At the moment, the laptop (win7) only recognizes the keyboard. I'm in the procedure of contacting the mfg. Good price tag

Sometimes it functions. It always defaults to computer 1 so if you maintain restarting Computer no2 you have to hit the switch again.This tends to make it discomfort if you require to enter CMOS upon restart.Also when you switch among computers most of the times it will freeze and you have to restart the computers. I essential A kvm for my computer repair store and this thing has made my life miserable.

Functions excellent, I have two particular objective systems sitting next to each other. Switched for my wireless mouse and keyboard and my Samsung 22" 2ms monitor. (A excellent monitor now discontinued.) I have no problems with graphics quality and another reviewer has. None

Excellent video quality. No ghosting. I am utilizing with a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse switching between an XP machine and a windows 7 machine. Everything functions fine. I have the XP machine set to 1440x900 and the 7 machine set to 1680x1050 on a 22" acer monitor and it handles both resolutions fine. None yet. This is my initial Rosewill item and I am entirely impressed. Specifically for only 14.99 and free shipping. Would suggest to any person.

I works great and switches rapid but the image is fuzzy on the PC when conn but other than that it functions but for the cost it is excellent just the ghosted image

replaced my old KVM which uses the round connectors with these USB ones. Plugged it in and worked. none other people say the wired are brief, only if you have your units extremely far apart, but given that I have mine side-by-side, it was not an concern for me.

It works properly. No software to install. Works with something I've thrown at it. The remote push button is a wonderful idea. The wire on the push button is weak. I purchased two. Get it. I've wanted 1 for years and it was a great way to give an unknown brand a attempt. Rosewill worked fantastic and I couldn't be happier.

cost, was a affordable switch for at home. vga ports was a low-cost purchase cant complain to considerably. gets the job performed. has no audio switching, not a large deal.

Affordable. USB pass-via so no compatibility difficulties at all. Remote switch so no bulky box on your desk. VGA-only but great enough for any remaining CRT owners. I've had two other affordable KVM switches in the last 4 years and they all flaked out on me. Both acted as a USB hub and wouldn't work with my G19 keyboard correctly, but this 1 does as it physically switches the USB connection for both Keyboard and Mouse. The button adds a different wired device to my desktop, but I prefer it to the 3-important combos if it will last longer.

Works. Affordable. None. Most of the KVM's I've applied have been software program switched, but the button is better. Works each time.

Neat searching Didn't work out of the box. Screen would occasionally flash, but that was it. Cables had been not quite lengthy. Returned to Newegg and purchased the one created by an additional corporation.

Works as stated and setup was no issue. Hooked up the wiring even though each computers had been off. Turned them on one at a time with no problem. I really like the external button to switch among computers. The cables could of been 8-12 inches longer. Need to have gotten the 1 with the audio connectors.

USB/VGA KVM switches are nice for older PCs with analog video. I prefer the mechanical switch (as opposed to SW). Works fairly properly with an HP and Dell (both PCs ɱyrs old). I get some VGA signal degradation among my Dell and 19" WS monitor 񢀠x900). It's not terrible, but absolutely noticeable (fonts aren't as sharp, color is a little off). Haven't messed with any settings to try compensating. Assuming (and hoping) that the mechanical switch will hold up over years of use. Works for what I will need, toggling among a server (to which I need to have limited access) and a every day desktop PC. Cost was fairly excellent, shipping was quick, Newegg is the best.

It does precisely what it's developed to do. I personally like getting the button to switch between computers, makes working with it very straightforward and straightforward. My wireless keyboard didn't detect properly the very first time I hooked it up. But that was far more most likely an concern with the laptop or computer then the actual switch, so I'm not going to mark it down an egg for that. If you want an inexpensive and simple to use device to switch among two desktops, this is a fair get.

Purchased it so that I could build a PC from my spare parts without getting to alter monitor cables over and over to view the progress. It worked flawlessly for that purpose, and my girlfriends' mother is now employing the spare parts PC. It won't manage high-finish gaming, I guess? If you're obtaining this for that purpose, do some much more research. For the price and the utility, you can't beat it.
