Quiet, Stable, Lots of Connectors 4 pin section of primary connector taped to 20 pin section. No other mechanism to hold collectively. Not a challenge, but looks pretty cheap. Makes a fair quantity of heat though powering a 3.four hyperthread p4. So far So fantastic. soon after buying this rosewill I have bought three a lot more.

I been working with these units for over a year now. I use them to replace faulty PSU in my consumers semi new/older systems. I have not had 1 come back negative yet. Shipping expenses. Would be great is SATA connectors where at angle as an alternative of straight on.

wonderful power provide. super straightforward install on a dell 3100 pc. powered up proper away and runs my nvidia card excellent. no humming or loud fan. ver very. superb and cost and really great packaging. well terminated cables. includes a computer power cable as properly. quickly shipping the two SATA cables a bit on the short side. i would not recommend if you have a high tower situation.

Connectors easy to perform with My original power supply failed me about 2 week ago. Lasted 12 years; an Enlight 300 W. I installed this and it fried right now. Smoke bellowing up from my desk with that electrical smell. I unplugged from the wall and the smoking stopped. Needless to say I will not be plugging that back in. OK it was cheep but it could have began a fire in the property. Not very good. I'll have to reconsider everything I purchase from Rosewill. Functions fantastic, quiet operation. Only con is the placement of the power connector. I had to Dremel out a notch in the situation in order to use this power provide. Employing this in a Franken-Compaq. Deskpro EN with socket 478 Evo motherboard. Works good on this board!

Price tag was incredibly fantastic. SATA cable was too short to reach to my CD drive. I had to purchase a Molex to SATA cable. Perhaps in future, SATA cable can be made longer.

It ran my old HP vectra p3 computer with 3 hd's, and three pci devices and a combo drive for about a year, and so far has ran my 3200+ board with a 8600gt, 2 hd's, and a combo drive for a couple of months. Only the occasional sudden restart. Sometimes will lead to my personal computer to restart when you start a cpu/graphics intense game or program. Overall quite good, hasen't quite died however.

This is a nice psu, I have had no complications with it at all. The power connectors are hard to unplug.
