Like the blue lights, the fan runs cool and quiet. I'd give it five-stars if not for the cord-length problem I ran into. I have a Coolermaster HAF 922 case and the 24-pin and 8-pin cords for the motherboard are just not long sufficient to tuck behind the MB comfortably (PSU upside down) or functionally (PSU rightside up). The HAF 922 is a bottom-mount situation, so I had to mount the PSU upside down in order to hold the cords out of the way, which meant the fan is facing down. Thankfully, the HAF situation has fan holes on the bottom and I've propped it up so the airflow is very good.

Ok, so this PSU looks good. Excellent really, although the blue light inside is not exactly the same hue as a lot of other items. It seems built solidly and all... But efficiency is kind of a letdown. I had to RMA the very first 1 I bought at my expense, but Newegg made it painless and replaced it quickly. UPS took forever but that's an additional story. The initial dies below load and the second seems to have the same return from suspend dilemma the initial had. I also believe 850 watts is a rather high rating for it, I wish it place out what it says it does. Not worth the opportunity, I bought a 1000watt H*C product for 110 here on unique and it's the boss. With Newegg would give me any other PSU to replace this a single. It scares me.

For a full tower system with 4 tricky drives, six case fans, an ATI 4870 X2 and some other odds and ends it had every connector I required. It ran solidly beneath heavy loads for almost 2 years. Died 4 months before its second birthday. RMA is already in the performs (has a two year warranty). This is the first Rosewill power provide I've owned, and the life I get out of the replacement portion will be the actual verdict on regardless of whether or not I'll use them in the future and suggest their use for my close friends.

functions like it ought to. high energy for low price. great buyer service. went out for no cause, dont know why, but less then 2 days later i got sent a brand new energy supply no concerns asked for abosolutly nothing, so that tends to make me really pleased. well i did have to spend for shipping to get it there, but thats all.

Got this for a custom pc I was making for a client.Effective, cost-effective, trustworthy. Not regretting this acquire.Wish I had this as well, but I have a low-cost, eDoom-purchased A-Power PSU that melted its personal cord, overheats when my processor goes bananas, and has certainly NO WIRE SHEATHS. Rosewill gets a fistbump for such as sheaths on the cables. I had under no circumstances heard of Rosewill till recently, but I'm hooked on their merchandise. I run a q6600 oc'd to three.0ghz, p7n platinum mobo, 8 gigs of ram, 2 optical drives, ATI 3870, and three 7200rpm HDs...This hus run wonderfully, without having any issues. No hiccups, at times the machine is going for days on finish with all four cores maxed. Plenty of gaming as well. A lot of wires, I wish it had detachable wires for the unused ones. Don't let peoples critiques scare you. I stated I would come back after a lengthy time of ownership, and re-evaluation. I recommend you give it a shot.

Solid PSU - Installed easy and has all the connections you could possibly want. Runs pretty quiet as properly. Isn't modular. Have not too long ago just began purchasing the rosewill 850뭎 series, they are less expensive then substantially smaller PSUs and i wont have an issue with them being to small for a very good extended time, and i have tremendous faith in this manufacturer, i have in no way recieved a poor product from them, and this did not change that its not 1000w?seriously, i cant thing of anythingyou get far more then what you pay for and get a stellar item (due the huge sale on these solutions that has been going on for a good extended time) Wires can get a bit bluky if your not that superior at wire management (or you case doesnt assistance superior wire management)a lot more power then what most will requireyou will have some difficulty acquiring an uninterpretable energy source that is large adequate

i have had this PSU for more than 2 years now and havnt had 1 dilemma. has been operating strong ever given that day 1 and hasnt let up C: cable are kinda stiff and bulky but with a handful of zip ties and a decently significant case i managed C: fried my mobo by accident but that was my fault. put in a fan whilst it was on and crossed some wires on the motherboard. killed it then and there. thats the only factor that has ever gone wrong with this develop. its been phenomenal because day 1specs: bfg nvidia gtx 260, two.four ghz quad core from intel, 8 gigs of ddr2 ram. two 1 tb hdd's (want a SSD) this Wonderful PSU. COOLER MASTER Stacker 830 Evolution case. Rosewill RCX-Z3 92mm Ball CPU Cooler. MASSCOOL SYTRIN Kuformula SHF1 Ultra HDD Cooler – BK. and the asus p5n-d motherboard. had to replace it when due to my own stupidity. haha learned that lesson fast! and 145$ later... lol other than that havnt had any troubles! o/c the GPU nicely. wanna attempt to o/c the CPU but am kinda scared about it and dont truly know how..
