A single HD 4650 performs pretty nicely, with accurate color pictures and superb rendering. Excellent for watching movies and playing much less demanding games. One card for use in such applications is not a bad deal at the current price. Catalyst Control Center hates these cards. Enabling Crossfire is pretty much impossible (after ten hours I still can't get it to function). Windows recognizes both cards as installed and enabled, but CCC does not, thus not allowing me to engage Crossfire. If you're a hardcore gamer or modder, steer clear of these cards. If you're content to play older games or at a lower resolution, you could do worse than to choose one particular of these up.

I bought this card to replace a fanless HD2400pro, for the objective of operating some older games at the highest settings (Battlefield two, Counter Strike: Source). Thankfully this card seems to do that very nicely. I haven't noticed any slow down during heavy action. I have not attempted to run newer games with the card. Also I have never heard the fan on the card. Very quiet. Though I didn't obtain the card for the objective of running HDMI to my LCD, I was searching forward to it. The video runs fine. However, I have not been in a position to get audio to run through it. I tried the drivers on the cd that came with the card, as nicely as the HDMI audio driver on ATI's web page. I can get the ATI HDMI driver to show up in my sound properties. When I choose it, and reboot, there is nonetheless no audio going to my tv. Tacos rule.

I've Had this Card for some time now Ƒ month) and It functions Great! It handles Halo Games with No problem, handles the Sims 3 Good, and Does a fabulous job with Video editing. This Video card is extremely inexpensive, and functions great. If you do 720p HD video editing, Play Medium End games, and want one thing that's low cost, This video card is right for you! Had Some issues with the Catalyst Manage Center, but You have to run it as Administrative for it to preserve the settings. I'm glad I bought this card

Had issues with a new build, I thought it was the card, it turned out to be the mobo.The card did quite nicely even with RMA mobos, So I'm pretty happy with it. Plugged it in and it ran fine. Straight out of the box card. Right after I got anything settled in, I got a BSOD soon after a few hours of utilizing the comp. I started it back up, and BSOD once again. I tried once more in the morning and absolutely nothing would boot. I let my friend check it out. He put some thermal compound on this card and booted every little thing back up. I haven't had any difficulties considering that. Saying this, the card runs fairly hot. Even after putting compound on it it hit 61C. That was with a high load tension test. On average it ran at around 45-54C? I could be wrong. A really very good video card with D-Sub, DVI and HDMI at a decent price for ATI chipset. Onboard audio for HDMI is also very good and no need to have to connect by way of your current sound card for audio output. ATI HDMI audio driver that came with the driver CD doesn't function. Even HDMI audio driver from ATI website is not working as effectively. I have to download the ATI HDMI audio driver directly from Realtek website and make the HDMI audio output working. It is surely a superior video card. However, you might need to have to invest some time to find out how to make it work.

Runs great, incredibly fantastic card. I can run GTA IV at 35fps on med settings Its advertised at 600MHz but mine was operating at 300MHz so I had to overclock just to run at the advertised speed. Not genuinely a con but I received a new version that doesn't have the fan cover, just a heads up.

Cheap card, gets the job completed. Haven't had heat issues. Newest drivers give me BSOD. Doesn't run settings almost as high as I expected it to for a card with the memory capacity it has. I'm still operating XP so possibly my mileage would vary with win 7.

easy overclocking utility included attempting to overclock past the listed core speed causes major errors in rendering display... tearing, missing pixels, and occasionally full screen scramble. can't run cod4 with a decent picture/framerate even with most every little thing minimized. i purchased this card in an emergency circumstance when my gtx 260 (recertified) burned out 4 days immediately after the warranty ran out. i'm dissappointed with this cards efficiency so i believe i'm gonna craigslist it and get a pair of 245 gt's or one thing affordable like that.

When they function they are a good value. Saphire gives incredibly poor customer service and does not honor printouts from Newegg's acquire records. Any glitches at all just before 30 days be certain to warranty with Newegg as Sapphire is impossible to deal with. Very good cooling, QUIET, crisp vibrant output to LCD / HDTVs. Purchased for personal use in an HTPC / Media server box connected to a Samsung 37'' LCD HDTV. Plays BluRay's and HD movies flawlessly. Fantastic upscaling for DVD playback. Really great hardware (GPU, memory, outputs) for the income. TERRIBLE drivers. Unable to go straight to the ati.amd.com website and download the newest drivers, upon installation, package said not compatible with this product (??). HAD to use the driver disk that came with it. Even following installing THOSE drivers with the supposed HDMI support, HDMI functionality was fairly flaky. Would always show video output however following PC went into hibernate/suspend it would state that the speakers connected via the ATI HDMI connection had been disconnected, and I had to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable in order to get audio output. Immediately after about 2 weeks of this I had decided enough was sufficient and that I would study the issue. Turns out the drivers werent correct for the HDMI feature and I had to go to Realtek and download the HDMI driver support for the chipset and install them. Works like a charm now and no complaints WHATSOEVER. Great product, just lacking in support. Great cost, wonderful card, fantastic functionality. Just would like to see a little bit greater support. ATI didnt have an actual fix listed on their web page for the challenge I encountered, instead just stated it would be fixed by the newest CCC release (which was three months old and still didnt fix my difficulty). Would obtain multiple cards for future HTPC builds/customer requests.
