This was a great upgrade from my 5770, I scored 4441 on 3Dmark 11 with a slight overclock. incredibly quickly for the cost runs just about every game ive played so far maxed total aa at 1920x1080 plays crysis and warhead maxed complete aa 1920x1080.crysis 1 runs slow at instances in the course of heavy battle scenes but its not mainly because of the card crysis 1 just has optimization issues.crysis warhead runs smooth as a whistle no frame drops at above settings.cant wait to crossfire these.comes with hdmi cord ,dvi to RGB/VGA , hdmi to mini,and so on look at pics and youll see everything. cant feel of any. mine runs at 80c overclocked to 950 core 1150 memory but thats due to the fact i have bottom mounted psu so its limiting/blocking airflow to my card read other reviews to get correct post in that matter. really nice card really happy with acquire.but i recommend these of you looking at this card to get the 1gb 6950 i would have gotten it but didnt have the added 30 to 40 bucks and i didnt want to wait to get the additional money.but youll be happier if you get the 1gb 6950 though, but if not then get this.

Looks good Artifacts all more than the location! Installed most current drivers ྫ.two) and nevertheless wont pass any benchmark or furmark anxiety test with no receiving important artifacts and crashing windows. Hope a new card remedies this. I'm only giving Sapphire one much more chance and if the 2nd card fails I'm sticking with ASUS.

As stated this is my 2nd card even though 1st one particular was DOA. But this type of stuff takes place I guess, I'm just mad I had to invest an additional ฤ to RMA it.

Running CrossFire with two, and they are matched perfetly. Quiet.Crank up when I require them, and lower power consumption when not needed. None.. I am operating a three Monitor Eyefinity Setup. Gaming with excellent FPS, Browsing, Multitasking across 3 screens. They have been excellent. The Games I play look excellent, operating excellent FPS. I operating stock. Not overclocked.Now that I have been using then for awhile, I decided to come back right here and share my liking of these cards.For Crossfire I necessary a single, Miniport to DVI (Active) adapter, to run with three 22" monitors.Have been utilizing ATI/AMD for a lot of years.. in no way let down. Often have been glad i bought them. These are the finest ones however. I don't see a purpose to Overclock.

1. It arrived quickly and the box wasn't crushedtwo. It's an appealing card ? 1. DOA2. Sapphire support was not impressive A Nvidia consumer exclusively for 9 years that in no way received a new card DOA. The eyefinity 3 display lured me to try a AMD card. Returned for RMA - we will see. The "good deal" is now a "not so very good deal" mainly because of the returned shipping expense the losing buyer (me) pays for the RMA. :(

this card is quiet and stays cool. PCI-e energy jacks are on the top rated of the board. the box art from sapphire is terrible. fantastic card, replaced my Radeon 4870's in crossfire, maybe just a tad slower now (not noticeable on most games), but I obtain DX11, and my Computer runs quieter, and sucks down much less power. overall, an exceptional deal.

I upgraded from a Sapphire 'Toxic' 4870, what an upgrade. Very first off, these are so quiet in comparision that I had to listen actual difficult, that they were running. They are blowing away my 4870 Futuremark scores, and the CrossFire setup was actual straightforward. I ordered a 'Mini Port to DVI' adapter, and the image is DirectX 11, Beautiful. I read in a post here that 'both' DVI's do not operate? Mabie not, but directions suggest working with the Display Port, and not two DVI's.Runs each my HDVT, and Monitor perfectly. Just for kicks, I attempted runnig Shatterd Horizon on my 1080 HDTV, and it played great. Wierless Keyboard, was not as responsive as wanted, but it workied with a stunning image.Upgrading to Crossfire appears totaly worth it. I ordered two of these cards. The second a single took some thought mainly because of funds.. but confident glad I figured out how to do it. Matched set is nice, get these card. You will not be disappionted. Pretty much got 6850's, glad I got 6870's.

RUns excellent so far, no hiccups yet on Rift, Age of Conan, Crysis, or Starcraft two. Very impressed in particular because the cost was 199.00 soon after Rebate. I consider its well worth every penny. Couldnt be happier. No plans to overclock, I genuinely don't feel the need, items run to my satisfaction. Sends all the heat out of the case like my old card did. So far there havent been any cons to this card. Runs nicely wiht my 1090t x6, 890 chipset ASUS board, 4 gig ripjaw 16000 mem. I'll let you know when it arrives, but based on other reivews, must be superb. I'm replaing Radeon HD5850 that failed for the duration of the initial year. CyberPower Computer wouldn't replace it! The new cooling fan ought to help on keeping temps down and hopefully won't be too loud. None yet. Just hope it's far more trustworthy than the HD5850 it's replacing. FYI, this model of the Sapphire HD 6870, model 100314-2SR has the newly designed Sapphire fan housing designed to offer "more effective cooling", vs. the "generic" case on the original launched model, which is still obtainable.

The fan is quiet adequate that you can run it at ຦ with out really noticing an raise in noise. I ran Heaven 2. benchmark on Extreme at 1920񦵐 everything maxed for 8 hours and highest temperature it hit was 76 degrees over clocked with 1.3 volts up from 1.167... Amazing!!! That is 10-15 degrees lower than the reference versions operating stock speeds. This card overclocks fairly properly with the Trixx software Sapphire offers for cost-free with the card. I topped out at 1000MHz core clock and 1200 MHz memory on two cards in Crossfire! This is 1 heck of a card for the price so I purchased two to run in Crossfire and it outperforms the Nvidia GTX580 and AMD 5970 with ease and expenses less than both of those cards. This is a fairly very good update from my 5970 and the free of charge HDMI 1.4 cables location nice bonus! None so far, I'm incredibly impressed with this purchase! Get two in crossfire and outperform the fastest video cards out there for little added expense.

This is my 4th ATI graphics card. It is a solid performer receiving a windows 7 graphics and gaming score of 7.8 for both categories. It played COD Black Ops maxed and Medal Of Honor maxed with super smooth framerates. Lost Planet 2 on the other hand had to be played on a mix among medium and high settings on 1920X1080 to get the frame rates up in mid 40s...I think the tesselation in Lost Plant two is a bit high drain even for the HD 6870. Also, plays Dead Space 2 maxed out with speedy frame rates. The digital fan (i feel its a digital fan at least) has a programable feature permitting the user to customize the RPM based on custom GPU temperatures with TRIXX software program.No unique than the TOXIC HD6870 hardware wise...just the toxic comes "pre-overclocked" exactly where the standard HD 6870 has to be overclocked by the user manually.No different than Vapor X HD 6870 hardware wise much less the Vapor X heatsink which is still inferior to GPU GDDR liquid cooling. Has played all the games I have thrown at it! I can finally play Just Cause 2 CRANKED ALL THE WAY! It's soo different than my 9600 GT it's like night and day. Got a excellent deal as usual with Newegg! None so far! For the price and overclockability of the card (you can almost get 5870 numbers from an overclock). It's a sweet deal.
