I ordered one to upgrade the onboard video on my dell. I also ordered a LCD monitor. The Video card installed PERFECTLY no issues at all Win 7. The monitor also installed fine but this is about the card. A GREAT value and a GREAT video card. I have been watching movies off hulu full screen and no jerkiness. almost looks like i am there with the picture quality.

I was looking for one of the best video cards for a PCI slot and found this one was up there. It does exactly as it states and there were no issues.

I actually use this video card for composite, and it looks great. screen looks very clean. i recommend this if you're doing composite.

i needed a video card greater than a 2.0 shader and this one has 4.0 shader which is better. overall im happy, it performs great and its fairly compact.

For the first day the card worked great, just like it should have. The second day, it messed up. This card is not meant for gaming, only light gaming. So if your a light gamer (meaning you play very old games that hardly make your computer

When I read the info about this card I thought it would be a great upgrade to my system but as it turns out it wasn't compatable with my system, so I put it in my son's computer and it worked, he loves the card cuz it worked for him, but I'm disapointed that it didn't work in mine. I have an MSI 6278 with XP Pro

I really wanna GeForce 9 like 9500GT PCI card,but no one supply it . finally i choose SPARKLE 8400GS PCI,of course the performance not as good as 9500GT but also running well until now! Easy istall and i like low profile and passive design . My sister and i love mini pc and hate noise.

No instructions included. I was familiar with installing such hardware, but the video driver installation gave me a fit because it was in competition with the existing driver. Instructions are needed to make sure the end user disables any existing driver before installation.

Well worth the $50. Works good with my pc. Had no issuses at all with installing it and running with it. It works on Burnout Paradise at low graphics though. Anything past that seems to start skipping on occasions. But I'm good with low settings. It does get very hot. I would definitly invest in a cheap fan for it. I reaped a fan off of another video card and plugged it into this one. For a pci card its great. It isn't for extreme gamers but for lite gamers that don't have supercomputers it works great.

I've only bought a couple of these cards and not being a gamer, it's difficult for me to really appreciate what it can do...I bought the to beef up the graphics on a machine I had upgraded to Windows Vista. It does everything I need it to do, and I can play Solitaire again, as well as take advantage of all those Windows Vista features that I really don't care about. Frankly, Vista is a classic exercise in corporate narcissism and brings little value to my life. So...given the price of the card, I'd say it's a pretty good deal!

It came exactly when it was supposed to, it was exactly what it was supposed to be, it installed exactly like it should have, it's performing exactly like I'd hoped it would... Here's the deal: I tool an old HP Desktop and swapped the 512Mb for 2Gb ram (got it here), the DVD players for burners (or RAM, got 'em both here) and the 2.8Ghz Celeron for a 3.6Ghz Pentium (Tiger Direct again), so naturally the onboard graphics needed to move over. The improvement is definitely noticeable; colors, rendering, speed - all of it. For $50? I'm stoked...now this old XP Pro PC rips circles around my GF's new Vista Prem laptop. Thank TD!

Great deal for a card, especially a GeForce 8 series PCI card. Only notable issue with this card at the moment is that the heatsink is rather large, so if you are installing two PCI cards in adjacent slots, this one will have to be in the lower slot. Have yet to get it working with PCIe + PCI cards for up to 6 screens on a single PC.

I plugged in the card, connected the DVI cable for a new LCD monitor and it booted right up. I have an older model PC running a Celeron processor, 1Gig memory, onboard video card and Win XP home. There was no special knowledge needed to make it work, it was very simple. I went from an analog/CRT to digital/LCD and even though I know it is not the ''best'' graphics it makes my old PC look new again, so I'm happy until I can buy another PC.

This card's 3D graphics worked really well with Ubuntu Linux 8.10 using the VGA port and a widescreen LCD monitor. I have not tried the DVI or S-Video ports.
