Good solidly constructed cable adequate length works fine for me in Dual-link setup and I liked the white connectors. The screw length worked fine for me so extended as I solidly seated the connectors and worked each screws equally not torquing to one side or the other. No actual cons to this product. The "Dual-Link" spec isn't intended to route DVI-D to DVI-I or vice versa which I suspect is the issue for some reviewers, it implies the cable can operate as either DVI-D or DVI-I so if you jacked up and have a DVI-I to DVI-I setup and order this DVI-D cable it'll still perform but if your source is DVI-D and your display is capable of only DVI-I of program this cable won't work. |

I bought a extremely good 23.6" Asus 1080p monitor and it came with a dvi old piece of crud cable, you know the kind, the a single missing 4 center pins? I could'nt use it, it would'nt show the post screen so I could'nt get into bios. HDMI cables don't do it either, so I had to have this! None, unless you, like me, count obtaining no beer along with the solution a con. This cable functions and I can see the post screen and the monitor sleeps and all that stuff monitors hooked to computers are suspose to do....and that's operate proper. If you are suspose to get a cable with a monitor, make positive it's a dvi d or you'll end up purchasing 1 following you test your new monitor. This is a great value, even immediately after shipping costs.....have you priced these at your bargain stores? Jeeez, I saved large time. |

It works. None Make sure you are finding the right DVI chord. There are some chords that have an further 4 pins subsequent to the single wide pin and a lot of devices can not take those pins. My graphics card can but my monitor can't so this chord works just fine. |

Heavy duty, thick. Regardless of whether or not these attributes themselves equal high quality...I don't know. I do know it works as anticipated @ 1920x1080ᤠ, and it seems far superior to the cords commonly provided with displays. The ferrite core is a bit also close to the connector for my monitor style's liking; it would not fit till I bent the cord region between the connector and ferrite core 90 degrees. Doesn't detract from my rating, just a minor annoyance. |
