I recomend this for any USB device. I used this on my Media Center PC. The PC is in one room and I wanted to use my Media Center remote Control USB device located in another room for watching TV recordings. Works great!!

Well i bought this product with mixed reviews. Im using it to mount a camera out side of my house for bird watching at 95 feet away, and it works great. I bought the total length that u could buy for this product and it works great.Thanks Tiger Direct for your speedy delivery time.. be expecting more buys from me in the future.

Rick: there's an LED? Not on the set I got. That said, the product works as advertised. I'm using it to operate a Logitech trackball through 40 feet of Cat5 cable, and it seems to work just fine.

For your information - in order for this to work at all, the adapter with the LED must plugged in to the computer, not the peripheral.

The product works well. If you are trying to use it with a USB 2 multifunction printer and find it doesn't work, try putting a USB 1 hub between the remote end and the printer. Now it should work. Tech support would only prove the devices worked by having me plug a USB stick into the remote. I'll email them my findings.

Plugged it in and now my printer is 110 feet from the computer, working just fine. And Tiger Direct's price is excellent, saw elsewhere for twice the price.

The Sabrent USB Extension Cable using Cat5e network cable is excellent. I can use our printers from anywhere in the house, and can even drive the HP 4890 Scanner with the laptop at 35' without the charger plugged in.
