This mouse is, hands down, the ideal gaming mouse I've ever applied. Fits my hand like a glove, following a bit of adjustment. It's WIDE. So a lot that I use my middle finger solely for the mousewheel now, and I'm much better for it. Weight is great, and if it isn't you can constantly add much more. Took about ten minutes of fiddling to get the precision aim button working ideal, but that's more of a fault in the user than the item. I can't see any true practical application for the thumbwheel, but the alternative of possessing it there is good. I will note that, by default, it does nothing at all. You have to assign a couple of keys to it in the software program.

- Create Good quality- Customizable Parts- Adjustable Sensitivity- Braided Cable - Ergonomics - at least for my grip style- Scroll wheel position- Thumb rest and buttons position- Pinky rest to short / shallow (both pieces) I have a claw/pinch grip and I essentially hold the mouse on a slight angle. This makes it possible for me to hit the middle mouse button (melee) and browser back button (reload) quite speedily.I've logged 400+ hours in MW2 with a ergonomic Targus laser mouse plus all the time spent outside of gaming. Needless to say i'm incredibly employed to my grip kind. The design of this mouse does not function nicely for me. Very first off, the scroll wheel is way as well far forward to have your finger fit on best of the wheel (and no, I don't have tiny hands).Even if you adjust the thumb rest all the way forward, the browser buttons are also far back. If you grip further back to reach the browser buttons, you can't simply reach the scroll wheel (unless you have freakishly lengthy fingers). The mouse is fairly flat so adding the raised palm rest assists a small. Pinky rests (both extended and common) are too short and result in my pinky and ring finger to bunch together.I may possibly be looking at a various mouse at this point...

I adore the customization, It also has a really distinctive appear, and the customization alternatives seem unlimited as far as macros and mouse settings go. It does take some receiving utilized to, and It is fairly heavy for these that like to lift their mice during gaming even with all the weights removed. I adjusted my gaming inside a couple of hours considering that I employed to be a "lifter" when I turned the sensitivity up its straightforward adequate to just drag it and not worry about lifting. I adore the pinky rest, and adjustments are uncomplicated and make it comfortable.I have but to use the "snipe mode" in BFBC2 but I'll be confident to give it a shot the moment I pick up a sniper rifle.

Looks neat. Does not perform. Mouse cursor jumps about the screen uncontrollably. At times works, sometimes is possessed. Tried distinct mouse surfaces, cleaned sensor, nonetheless does not function. Forget gaming, I can not even use my personal computer with this totally cool looking paper-weight. I will be throwing it in the trash soon. Save your time and cash. My 5yr old Logitech cheapie mouse under no circumstances had a difficulty. I genuinely wanted to like this mouse but it just does not perform. Complete waste of time and income. I'm quite disappointed.

Pros:Very comfortable, adjustable, sleek looking and accurate

This is a fantastic mouse for any gamer (Not recommended for casual use). It has the adjustable pieces and can be re-sized to fit your palm making long gaming sessions so very comfortable. I absolutely recommend pairing this bad boy up with the XFX Warpad to make for the most comfortable gaming experience.

-This mouse capitalizes on its nearly infinite customizability, and it fit my hand perfectly with only a handful of tiny adjustments.-Sniper Button is good, and not just for gaming!-4 DPI settings and 3 "keybind" profiles for the scroll wheel and forward/back buttons -Weights actually didn't make a difference, so I just took them out and tossed them into the cartridge-Can't actually make use of the extra pinkie/palm grips due to the fact I got it for the pinkie rest-Skipping each so often, but that's almost certainly my mousepad If you don't want to take a chance and get a mouse you could not like, even although you save dollars, get this mouse as an alternative. I'm surely glad that I did, and my hand feels a lot superior now that I started out employing the RAT, even for the duration of lengthy gaming sessions

Completely adjustable/customizable, feature wealthy (decent software program), rapid, and has external add-ons such as a pinkey finger plate to keep away from pinky drag. It has a strong build and it is not just for gamers. Everyone that utilizes a computer system complete-time needs a great mouse. this is not your grandmothers mouse! The R.A.T. 7 has a stiff cord and could be a nuisance for some persons. The mouse is sensitive to ESD due to a metal hex screw that your thumb touches resulting in the mouse to stop moving for a couple of seconds. The weight (even without the weight rings) may well be to much for some folks. The surface have to be super clean. Even the smallest amount of dust/dirt can make the mouse mis-function If you are a significant gamer or work at a Pc all day this is a wonderful mouse. I used to use Logitech, but I have a difficult time wanting to go back soon after working with this mouse.

It wins where it advertises, it has great customization attributes all about, and feels good once you get it to exactly where you want it. This is where I have to deduct a lot of points, the laser on this thing is insanely sensitive to dust and other particles. Pretty much every ten minutes I have to blow into the laser to knock off whatever is causing the mouse to stutter. I contact Cyborg about this, and they ignored my e-mail. Also, the software that comes with this is fairly poor, not the type of customization characteristics I'd like (nothing like Logitech's keyboards).

This is a solid well built mouse (Its a mans mouse), My wife got me this for Christmas, so I swapped out my naga and plugged this in and haven't unplugged it but(sorry naga), wonderful button layout, very comfortable in palm. Response time is awesome, the system software it came with is extremely user friendly. You cant go incorrect with this mouse. the only con I can believe of is reading the neg fb on this mouse by folks who have no thought what they are performing or talking about Contrary to what the noobs and unprofessionals are saying there is nothing negative about this mouse, the button program software program is really extremely simple to use allot less complicated to use than razer's , you really have to be a absolute moron not to understand it, the response time is with out question witch you can also adjust in the program, I set mine down to 3500, at 5500 you breath on it and the cursor goes flying across the screen. If you want a fantastic gaming mouse that will last by means of a nuclear war this is deff the one particular to get. If Im prepared to kick a razer mouse to the curb for it, ITS THAT Fantastic!.

The mouse looks really cool, it's got a great really feel to it; I like the weight and the drivers were simple to install. Sadly that's exactly where the very good things end, the difficulties for tracking are unacceptable, the reality a mouse that sells for this price tag point doesn't track on an high priced gaming mouse pad that costs in the double digits is flat out unacceptable. It is uncomfortable to hold sometimes, it could be the size of my hands, I have fairly tiny hands but when I was utilizing a Sidewinder mouse, I was fine and those are larger. As other individuals have said; the Mad Catz/Saitek support is unreachable, the sensor will not track if it is not straight on the surface and the mouse doesn't slide nicely. On leading of this, my mouse seems to be missing a portion, I am not certain if this is Saitek's fault but it is unfortunate. I am very disappointed with this mouse; and I was really searching forward to acquiring to use it. As others have stated and I say, too; DO NOT IGNORE Folks WITH TRACKING Problem Complications, I did and I was very, very disappointed. So be cautious unless you have a single of Saitek's own mouse pads or a surface you know it will perform on. The customization is a wonderful concept, if the mouse would actually Work.

This is the best fitting mouse I have ever owned. I had a tough time acquiring a mouse for big hands. Being in a position to adjust not only the weight but the length and width are wonderful. The palm piece can have a little give if extended, but otherwise the mouse feels solid and well put together. The twin-eye laser has concerns with mouse pads. I have an Icemat (now the Steelseries Expertise pad) and and old Func Industries mouse pad and neither work (the Icemat is useless with this mouse and the Func Industries is touch and go on both the speed and precision sides). I wanted to get an additional RAT7 for function, and contacted MadCatz tech assistance for a list of compatible mouse pads (or if they could at least confirm their Cyborg mouse pads are compatible) and have heard nothing. Will most likely go with a Steelseries Ikari or other massive mouse.

-easily accessed setting-complicated and basic macro creation-customization level- 5600dpi-metal base-adjustable weight-simply reachable buttons-its non tangle corded cable is brilliant -nothing at all that i can think of at this time I initial bought this mouse for my new setup that i was in the process of constructing at the time, (almost a year abo now), and because then, it has honestly been the finest mouse i have ever employed. I generally use my pc for games like Contact of Duty, Starcraft 2, and World of Warcraft, and as such i have attempted quite a couple of unique "gaming" mice, among these have been the g9, the razer naga, and the microsoft sidewinder, to name a handful of. in comparison to these other excellent mice, i believe that this mouse is greater in all methods. its different buttons click with ease, with a sturdy feeling, its simple to customize to fit any hand, and its sniper dpi lowering button is amazingly beneficial. in summary, this is a fantastic mouse that i think is 1 of the finest out there, i would suggest it to anybody who is looking for a good quality gaming mouse to fit their distinct gaming setup

Had this mouse for a while and I have used the warranty twice already to replace it through NCIX. The first time it was because the roll button was mega hard to turn and the second time was because the sensor broke down and began skipping out of nowhere after 9 months of perfect service. On top of that, Madtacs/Saitek service is horrible. I have emailed these guys twice about my issue and they never responded back to me. Thank god NCIX has limited warranty to help me out. My next mouse will definitely be Logitech because they have stellar tech support and care about their customers.

Eye catching and hand fittment are the greatest there are. Needed me to investigate tracking troubles. I wish it had a pinky button also. I solved 'my' tracking issue by performing 2 issues. 1. Removing absolutely all other mouse drivers on the technique (I came from a logitech) and 2. going into the mouse properties, below pointer selections I unchecked my 'Enhance pointer precision' box. That fixed it and it's been fine ever since.

Awesome customization i enjoy the ability to alter what i want on the mouse. Quite comfy for palm grip user like me Looks greatNow for the part that is producing me RMA this mouse Tracking as hundreds of others have reported .I can be listening to music on my desk with music about 10-15 percent and the mouse go crazy jumping all more than the screen.I tried various mat surfaces even went as far to put sound damping material on the desk but no luck.Tried everything nothing at all operates'sthe adjustable screw's on the left thumb buttons can hit your inside palm based on how smaller or massive your hand is.The scroll wheel i like but i wish the would have put the rubber grips facing the other way exactly where you had to pull it toward you instead of it rolling to you as it often rolls to far back making me miss my selection. General i think this mouse notion is incredibly great but but it was either just rushed or not tested enough. As they must be no reason a mouse that expense close to 贄 must have tracking concerns that makes the mouse unstable.when it begins moving and jumping you have to turn almost everything off prior to the mouse is usable again.I really wanted to maintain this mouse as i really like the appear's and the feel of it but what good is a mouse that does not have the precision of a ฤ mouse.I wish they would respond to the public and let us know if they are fixing the concern or firmware update or one thing as this is ridiculous

I purchased this factor right after owning a R.A.T. 3 for a even though. I discovered the R.A.T. three to be the best mouse I'd ever set MY hand on, but the R.A.T. 7 had a precision aim button! I felt jipped, I had to have that. The base button configuration is same as R.A.T. three, comfortable, easy, smooth. DPI settings programmable, forward and backward buttons. The true difference is in the precision aim and thumb wheel. Precision aim, you're my hero. Thumb wheel, what the heck do you do?Customizable out the wazoo! The 4 programmable DPI settings of the R.A.T. series have spoiled me. I spent a couple hours swapping out the interchangeable parts to test them out. Following playing with the possibilities for a bit I finally found a configuration that felt "just proper". Thumb rest adjustment; it moves forward and back, and swivels in and out. Cool. But, when moving the thumb rest forward a heavy duty wire gets in the way forcing the thumb rest to swivel out. I wanted the thumb rest to be a lot more forward and tightly coupled not pushed out. What would I use the thumb wheel for? At the finish of the day this mouse tracked nicely, was comfy, programmable and just freakin looked cool.

Cons:Though I'm sure it's durable, there are times I'm scared of breaking it just because of how the exterior feels, kind of jimmy rigged onto the baseplate by a screw and a few plastic ends to keep it in place, though I doubt it will actually ever break on me, I just don't like the feeling.

Pros:Perfect responsiveness.Very smooth, natural feeling mouse movements.Adjustable weights are great, I like my mice heavy. The amount of modification allowed to make it as ergonomic as possible is impressive to say the least, after I finally got it set up probably it is by far the most comfortable mouse I have used.

Amazing mouse, I got it on a sale for $80 and I'm loving it. The second thumb roller is a great alternative to just throwing on even more buttons, though macro-ing it to extended key presses is proving difficult, at least for me. I would easily buy this mouse again, and definitely choose it over the R.A.T. 9 unless you really need a wireless mouse for gaming for whatever reason. The price you can get it for is just too good to pay an extra $20 to wireless.

As stated before, most configurable mouse obtainable, sniper button, high DPI, can adjust sensitivity on the fly. Laser tracking concerns and in my case a faulty correct mouse button. Sent a number of clicks on a single depression. Has the Saitek brand name but Saitek will offer you no response or aid on RMAs, requirements to go back to Madcatz. Saitek by no means graced with me with a reply so I contacted Madcatz which did. You will require to send them the usual information, twice, just to get an RMA. As soon as via e-mail and then with the returned merchandise. They don't cover the return shipping fees in spite of getting a warranty return, but they will ship you a new mouse promptly if you send them the shipping tracking info.

Incredible make excellent. Looks sweet as hell. The tin it comes with is cool also. UNACCEPTABLE TRACKING Problems. It merely is too finicky like every person else is saying. Mouse pointer jumps all more than the spot, it will "float away" down to the corner of my monitor untouched! Worked better when I took out the mousepad, but nevertheless not excellent, and it need to be for this value! The notion of the "sniper button" is awesome, but in practice I located you dont truly have time to use it in most shooters I play, primarily Black Ops. In the end, I am sad but I have no choice to send it back and go back to my Logitech G500. Do your study, you will uncover several people today are having this exact same issue, and I actually, really, really, wanted this mouse to perform, but it just wont. Bummer for sure. Maybe for the value you spend the maker should consist of a mousepad that the mouse is proven to be compatible with!

As soon as again, Saitek delivers a physically comfortable and versatile peripheral. Variable DPI toggle has verified itself useful behind the scope of a couple FPSs. Button positioning is great and the movable palm rest is very accommodating for those of us with longer fingers. Horizontal scroll wheel does not apply to 90% of applications I use (Explorer, Photoshop, Guild Wars, Firefox, etc). Like most Saitek merchandise, the poor supporting software waters down the ideal mouse-that-could-have-been. Configurations allow remapping of buttons to keys but, for example, I was unable to map the horizontal scroll wheel to act as the vertical scroll wheel (not of my own ineptitude mind you). Lastly, my certain mouse's vertical scroll wheel has a deadspot that covers 1Ǚ of the wheel. No programs respond when I roll by means of this deadspace. Techsupport has been unresponsive for a week now... This is a typical Saitek product. Very good physical attributes plagued with poor software program and driver support. I would have hoped MadCatz would have accomplished some thing about changing that. Get this mouse if you don't mind just sticking with a typical 5 button mouse with variable DPI assistance.

-Customizability is fantastic, assuming you know/can choose what functions for your hands and playstyle -Very innovative concept, had it been executed properly -Against my far better judgment, I chose to ignore numerous complaints on a variety of internet websites that this mouse develops serious tracking difficulties soon after a brief term of use. Those complaints had been completely true. The mouse I got for Christmas has already created tracking complications...the cursor jumps about the screen, randomly refuses to move in certain directions, and just commonly disobeys me. I've updated the drivers, experimented with various mousepads, and I nonetheless haven't been in a position to solve the problem. -Heavy relative to other mice. Even the lowest weight setting (I.E. no weights) is drastically heavier than other mice you may possibly discover. So the relative adjustability in terms of weight is truly very low. A excellent notion, but customizability is irrelevant if the internals itself doesn't function correctly.
