I like it. it glides well on a steelseries Qck Mass critter pad and feels substantial. It took about 2+ hours to dial in to my hand, but felt like I got exactly what I paid for post fiddling. All buttons feel subtle yet defined with exception of the small mode switch located left of the thumb. I've spent more on less user friendly, less sophisticated peripherals that looked oh so bland in comparison. |

Mouse is quite customizable to fit any hand. Mouse worked really nicely for about 3 weeks. Began erratic tracking right after three - emailed firm (Saitek) for an RMA and have heard absolutely nothing in four days of waiting. Do not purchase this item as it will become an high-priced paper weight. I will re-do my assessment when the corporation fixes/replaces my mouse. Too poor I and so several other people have had a negative encounter with this mouse. |

extremely customizable makes it close to impossible for any individual not to engineer the perfect fit to their hand. looks like it belongs in the transformers movie. makes all the difference when playing multiplayer fps. I have preordered this mouse 2 months just before its release date and i have been utilizing it day-to-day for gaming given that it was released, two months ago the scroll wheel came loose and began to totally free spin. I named Madcatz and they said for me to send it in for repair, I had to spend for the shipping which i believed was unfair given that it was nonetheless covered. they were unable to fix it so they sent me a new one rather. that sound excellent I know, only if they did it rapidly. I overnighted the mouse to them and still took three or four days short of a month to send me the replacement. I could have lived with that if they told me it will take that extended but, they in no way contacted me with any update, I had to call them every single week to check on the repair procedure and I spent at least 15 minutes on hold every single time i called. so to sum it up (good mouse but poor costumer service) I had issues with the mouse tracking on my mouse pad which was gaming grade tCooler Master Weapon of Selection M4A1, so soon after calling them I got fundamentally no data on what pads that worked. so I went to some gaming blog web sites and looked into what works and ended up with a razer goliathus pad that works fine with this mouse. so apparently, this mouse only tracks nicely on dark surfaces, if you have a white or silver colored pad, you will need to consider getting an additional one if you plan on finding this mouse. (but to be fair If I would have known that i will go although these troubles I would have still purchased this mouse just because how effectively it preforms when the pad is appropriate) |

Fantastic customization. I enjoy the feel of it and the sniper button is the greatest. I also like the 4 dpi settings that can be switched among with a click of a button. I give it a fourǛ mainly because i will get tracking problems some occasions and the mouse can also be more than sensitive at times. I can let me mouse sit by it self and it will swirl all across my screen on occasion. I also appear to get shocked by the mouse each and every when and a even though and when that occurs i have to plug it into a new usb slot. The thumb wheel is cool but i feel like it sits too low and should be up a small greater. Excellent mouse, and tracking complications are fixed by un plugging it and plugging it back in. |

The Look and ability to custom the mouse was wonderful. It was smooth over any service and most buttons effortless to get to. the profiles choices was a really good touch. exactly where too start. this mouse hurt my hand and cause it to hurt a lot. The sniper button is to far up and no matter how I adjusted the mouse I could not hit it. The back is to high and the small finger is to far out. The will need to ether sell additional parts for it or take it back to the drawing space. |

FPS - Is great, instance scope rapid to slow scrolling fast response time. Get called a hacker all the time with this mouse.Adjusted to my hand just fine. Side scroll wheel doesn't have considerably function as its too far into my palm to use make a practical use of it. ( I have major hands) Like other have mentioned, Mouse tends to tilt back altering weights makes no difference. MX518 Gaming mouse from Logitec has fairly significantly exact same usefulness. |

-customization, i have big hands and was able to locate something comfortable.-the pinkie rest is quite good-scroll wheel is nice and smooth and the buttons are crisp.-and it looks like some thing from a transformers comic book! lens picks up stuff incredibly very easily, you require a super clean mousepad to use it! i would get random concerns with it not tracking appropriately and identified it was really fine hair or thread that gets caught up in there. i have been employing this mouse for nearly a entire week for 8 hours a day at work. my hands were utilized to it right after about an hour. |

This thing is the most customizable mouse I've ever noticed. From changing the width to the length and even the weight. There are also a few alter-outs for the palm rest and pinky finger rest.Glides across my old mouse pad like the pad is oiled glass. The ability to adjust and customize the DPI on-the-fly is truly cool. The sniper button really makes it simple to pull off a head-shot in extended range battles. Doesn't allow the altering of the height of the toe of the mouse (the front of the mouse exactly where your fingers go, not the palm side). I'd like to make it a bit higher to ease the strain on my wrist (injury from an auto accident). For gaming it's among the best. For net surfing....a 10 dollar mouse would do for you. |

If you like a heavier mouse, this is the proper weight. I like the "headshot" button. Helpful in FPS games, helpful in Photoshop. Admit it, it looks cool. The adjustability of the surfaces is a definite plus. The software for configuration functions nicely enough. Appropriate out of the box, when you have it set to the highest sensitivity and press the button behind the scroll wheel to lower the dpi you cannot raise it up outside the config software program. I'm sure you can somehow, but they did not make it straightforward to figure out.The mode button to the left of left click is not easy to press, doubly so when shooting neer-do-wells in BlOps. Getting employed the identical Intellimouse five-button Optical Explorer given that bought new in 2001, switching more than to this mouse has been a chore in re-learning muscle memory. Two weeks in at this point, I know I will end up keeping it and making use of it. It's absolutely additional comfy for long sessions, and feels like it's been built to take abuse. It's not excellent by any means, but from a purely subjective point of view, I like it rather well. I do hope it grows just a small bit much more on me. |

+The most adjustable mouse. Period.+nice and comfy+on the fly dpi settingsƱ mouse modes+great looks+sniper buttonThe sniper button... numerous assume it's just a gimmick. But I use it Significantly far more than I ever believed I would. In borderlands, I frequently catch myself sniping, and when I do I'm always reaching for that sniper button, for nailing consecutive headshots, it genuinely helps. Clearly it won't aid as significantly on an RTS or non FPS rpg, but for FPS with any sort of sniping, it's gold. -Tiny pads on the bottom-palm adjustment can stick a little Okay, here's a plain, honest assessment. I purchased this mouse mainly because, let's be honest, most of the time we're on computers, we're surfing the net, reading, playing music/movies/etc. Some men and women game 8+ hours a day on their comp, but I don't, and I feel I speak for the typical individual. I wanted this mouse due to the fact ergonomics are quite important, and if this mouse doesn't fit you, then you merely aren't adjusting it appropriately, 3 diverse palm peices, three different side peices, thumb side is adjustable in outward cant, and length. I've by no means knowledgeable any sort of "drifting" difficulty that others have, and when men and women speak on high quality, this mouse is best notch. No creaks or squeaks, feels very solid. The only thing I would be concerned about remotely is the rubberized finish wearing off (I've observed related finishes on cheaper devices fail), that and perhaps the smaller mouse feet wearing down. Overall, fantastic mouse. Obtain it, and you won't regret it. |

Excellent customization, incredible sensitivity, robust construction, looks like a transformer. Understanding curve with customization, Cant widen the thumb rest and lengthen the rest at the very same time, cant widen it as much as I'd like I heard that other individuals with win 7 x64 were having tracking issues on numerous axises but I've put about 20 hours into gaming with the mouse and have had ZERO troubles. I was worried at first simply because I ordered it with no seeing the pointer problems.I didn't rate it a 5 simply because I have a wide hand and it would me a lot far more ergonomic for ME if the thumb rest could go out further. But it's operating well the way I have it set up now.I adore the precision aiming button as I play a lot of FPS but playing other games works great as nicely. The software program that comes with it allows you to customize the uncommon buttons with any important you want. For example in Batman Arkham asylum I have the thumb scroll 1 way z (zoom) and x the opposite direction (detective mode)I'm really content with my acquire and expect this to last a long time.If you're on the fence about the acquire, take the dive  |

-Looks amazing, matches my G510 keyboard :D-Fully adjustable; palm depth, thumb rest length and angle, pinky rest, swappable palm grips, on the fly DPI settings, and weight are all very easily changeable-Extra programmable buttons and extra scroll wheel are amazing-Precision mode button is excellent for gaming-Mouse profiler permits for additional advanced however simplistic gaming -Much more sensitive than a purple headed mushroom-Thumb scroll wheel whilst cool is somewhat inconvenient to use, this may well be due to my hand size but so far I've got small use for it-Precision aiming button is cool, but overuse of it resulted in the cross hair decal from getting worn off-Precision aim button also appears to usually be out of the reach of my thumb. I've adjusted the mouse a number of times but I can't seem to uncover the right position that makes that button easy to get to as nicely as the forward and back buttons.-I find myself cleaning it much more than usual since i tend to notice a fair amount of residue on the left click button soon after gaming even when my hands are clean. Overall I appreciate this mouse, but I went from a standard wireless mouse and keyboard combo by logitech to this beast, so you can envision the learning curve i had to go by way of (still going by way of) simply because of its sensitivity. I was disappointed when the cross hair decal wore off from the precision aim button, but thats not super important to me. But outside of getting to deal with the super sensitive nature of the mouse, I have had no problems with software program or hardware. I appreciate the adjustability, I appreciate how it looks, and i seriously really like that pinky rest it comes with lol. I do come across that its not super comfortable following a long period of gaming, but this is additional likely due to my tendency to grip the mouse really difficult when I'm playing Negative Firm. And as I said, I can't actually access the precision button simply. Type of wish it was a toggle, but its not a super inconvenience |

Potent macro functionality in software.Great looks Poor ergonomics:* Mouse wheel too far forward.* Sniper button too far forward.* Nowhere for pinch grip users to rest their ring and pinky fingers with out squeezing them together. Hold out your hand in midair in a natural position. Notice your fingertips form a smooth arc, not with the pinky curled under the ring finger.* Entirely flat. With your hand flat, the wrist is rotated 90 degrees from natural position. Even just 10 degrees of angle drastically improves comfort when using the mouse (e.g. most of Logitech's mice).* Even with weights removed, nonetheless on the heavy side. Too much steel, not enough light plastic.Restricted scope of software program:* Can only rebind mouse button, thumb buttons, and every single direction of thumb roller. Sniper button, sensitivity button, and mode choice button are not changeable despite becoming the least beneficial buttons. Can not bind thumb roller to sideways scrolling. I've taken to employing the mouse without a palm grip at all to offset the weight some far more, but the limited scope of the macro software program and awkward shape implies I'm already looking for a replacement. |

-Customizable-Properly made, top quality parts and materials- There are numerous positives about this item, but I'm not writing this evaluation to go more than the positives. I just want to make individuals conscious of the heavy feeling in the hand. This can be a extremely good factor depending on how you like to have the mouse really feel in your hand. It's too heavy for me, even with all of the weights removed. I have a Logitech G5 that is light as can be. Immediately after gaming for a though with the R.A.T.7 my wrist hurts from the side to side movement. This has by no means occurred with my old mouse. It's fantastic to have the capability to add more weight, but I would prefer if the lowest weight potential was incredibly low. I know the base is metal, but it feels like a tank in my hand; with all of the benefits of toughness and downsides of weight. This is only a con for me, although, due to the fact other people may well love the heavy feeling. To them the weight would be perfect. High grade construction, good quality parts. May be too heavy for some users. |

Customisable grip, good heft, programmable alternatives, wide scroll wheel and reactive buttons. Does not come with an Alan Wrench to swap the panels about that come additional. The palm rest does not require it, but the left and appropriate paneling does, which is problematic considering that the appropriate panel is too smooth, and the one I desired to swap in was the gripped one, but I did not have the suitable sized tool for it. Overall a great purchase, and properly worth the funds. I do wish I could have waited for the RAT 9, but the 7 is just as superior for my present setup. |

This mouse feels awesome. Customizing it takes a couple of minutes and you're prepared to rock. First thing i notices was the palm rest. The further you set it, the much less stable it feels. It nearly feels wobbly. The thumb rest will not remain in its maximum allowable distance. It's like the screw is stripped and no longer able to hold the rest in location.Right after about three hours, the mouse no longer tracks an any surface. I've attempted 4 mouse pads, books, magazines and even two surfaces with my laptop. Not a superior feeling when the item you acquire breaks in a couple of hours. The thumbs adjustment is also a enormous letdown. |

The customizability is really good. I previously utilised a Logitech G9x with the smaller precision grip. I have my thumbpad all the way forward and all the way in, and I use a claw grip so I have the smaller palm rest (the 1 that comes on it already) all the way in. The most crucial component of this mouse to me is the pinky rest. For some reason I tend to let my pinky and ring finger hang at the really base of the mouse, so with my G9x those two fingers would be dragging all over the location. But with the pinky rest, I can now place those two fingers on that rest without having them dragging. I also like how it comes with the adjustment tool built into it. What in the word does the thumb scroll do? I can't get it to do anything anywhere!I truly wish the two side buttons were farther forward. I have the thumbpad all the way forward but the buttons are nonetheless too far back for me, in particular the bottom button. This is a issue for me because League of Legends only enables me to bind buttons 3 and 4 (center click and the bottom thumb button) and so now activating my 1st item slot is a small tougher, but I'll get used to it.I really feel like the scroll wheel could use a bit far more of a "click" to it. Like you can really feel the latches a lot more. But that's additional of a individual preference than an actual con. I haven't had any of the tracking problems that other individuals have been posting about. I'll probably try out the speaker vibration issue tomorrow. |

Many review sites give this mouse 10/10, but most people post comments saying they have huge problems with tracking. I play a lot of game where I need to move over just the slightest bit, but it wont respond to small movements and then makes a big jump. Many many many people have this problem. I'm looking into testing a few mouse pads that people are using. If it goes well I'll keep this mouse.Cannot give a 2 star rating as I did not buy it from NCIX
