Samsung T240HD, 24in, Digital Active Matrix TFT LCD , Black
Cons:Speakers are a little off, though I use external ones, so don't mind.Black desktop background is a little bright, though completely bearable to me.ATSC tuner doesn't offer PSIP guide functions, though it's not a huge deal to me.Would not work over DVI with my 780g board. Using HDMI is fine, though.

Pros:Good ATSC tuner in terms of sensitivity.Nice resolution and great picture (after adjustments)Zero dead pixels.Remote control for convenience.
Comment:
For the price, it can't be beaten.Gives me a TV and HD monitor all in one for less than the cost of a TV this size normally costs. The remote control is a large plus of getting the T240HD vs the T240.Easily turn off the monitor and switch inputs without needing to get up. Samsung T240HD, 24in, Digital Active Matrix TFT LCD , Black
Cons:No forward tilt or height adjust.DVI "no signal" issue.

Pros:Versatile, tons of I/O and configuration options.Looks great; good picture quality (for a TN).
Comment:
I got this as a TV with the intention of using it as a computer monitor when I buy up a big screen, but games look so good I end up playing on it most of the time anyway. My only gripe is the DVI "no signal" issue (not isolated to this monitor, google it). My Vista/4870 rig only displays a picture over DVI in Windows if I boot the PC with another monitor and switch after login. DVI with an XP/8800gts box works fine, so I don't know if it's Vista or ATI the monitor doesn't like... I'm using a DVI-VGA adapter and VGA cable, but I'm going to pick up an HDMI cable and see how that works.Caveat Emptor :)

Samsung T240HD, 24in, Digital Active Matrix TFT LCD , Black
Cons:Does not tilt forward, so if you have it elevated, it leans backward. Built-In Speakers weak.

Pros:Excellent Size; Great Color; No noticable blur with games; Gloss Case; 3 Year Warranty (Best warranty if your using as TV Only); Stand Swivals
Comment:
The monitor was purchased as main monitor for use with new system. My system came equiped with ATI 4850, and would not allow me to hookup via DVI-D. Researched online, and this is an ATI Issue.... I tried all the things online... latest drivers etc... nothing works... so if you have ATI, you will have to hook in via HDMI.

Cons:picture is only satisfactory. Blacks are not "blacks".

Pros:stunning sitting on the desk
Comment:
I would say this is an excellent monitor for gaming - one of the better ones actually. However for graphics work you get what you get in a TN panel unfortunately.

Comment:
This monitor is a great piece of equipment. You may use it as a regular TV by plugging a coax into it or if you wish, just plug an HDTV STB into it with HDMI or component. I also make use of the second HDMI input by connecting it to the DVI outlet of my video card which (ATI 4850 with sound processor) for my computer's display. The built-in speakers are not the cheap variety normally found in monitors. My neighbors can attest to that as they have complained about loud programs, lol.I purchased a Blu-Ray drive for this setup and I am very pleased with the results of that. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend this very good monitor.
