SanDisk Extreme 120GB 2.5IN SSD SATA3 SDSSDX-120G-G25 Solid State Drive
Cons:none
Pros:Wow, fast, random access. Comment:
This thing is fast, men.I did a copy comparison to my 5400rpm disk, what windows estimated 2 hour copy/paste from same drive job was done in 30 seconds on this drive.I did tons of research, and this drive is the best for the money. They use their own memory chips, and Sandisk's extreme storage line always had the best speed and reliability. Is not the fastest drive out there, but is the best of the best bang for the buck, and it ranks near the top in speed.I deducted 1 star because nothing is perfect. :P |
This SSD doesn't come with anything to hook it up to your computer and I found out at the same time that my case didn't have any SSD compatible slot (Antec900 V1). I managed to fix it to the side of the drive cage with some extra screws I had.One week is a very small lapse of time to make a judgment on an SSD but so far, everything is working just fine. The speed improvement is really noticeable.
