High output and unbelievable air flow. Solid construction. The fan does operate at a greater dB range than say a 200mm fan would even so its a modest trade off for maintaining your hardware cool when a 120 mm fan is the only choice. Installed this as a door fan in the Antec three hundred for a recent workstation create. Keep your fingers away from the blades this fan does not &@#% about its a beast!

Uncomplicated to set up.Quite thick and sturdy. (Well built!)Moves air insanely properly. Because it moves air so effectively it is quite loud. Really loud indeed. The loudness is such a challenge that I dock two eggs. If loudness is not a dilemma for you then appear no additional. This is with out a doubt 1 of the finest fans for cooling if noise is not an concern.

Blows large amount of air.Robust motor. It is louder than normal fans, but it is within the rated specs (maybe much less even). Noise can be considerably reduced if it's not placed straight in front of or behind any obstructions.Painful.

Moves a considerable amount of air. Good quality construction. The cost is decent (considering the competition). Can be loud at full speed. I extremely suggest working with a fan controller or attaching to the motherboard PWM fan jumpers. I created the mistake of not measuring the width- I made it work for my case, but beware! Most cases (especially in the front) will only accept 25mm.

Great Airflow, High RPM, Fantastic Design, Comes with Power 4 PIN Adapter TO 3 PIN Fan Adapter. Loud, Thick. These fans push tons of air. I have three sitting in a Cooler Master Storm Scout (With stock leading and front 140 mm fans) With A Phenom II x6 1090T, 4gb DDR3 1333 Ram, GIGABYTE 870 Motherboard, GIGABYTE HD 6850 Graphics Card and idle is about 29C (Was About 30C-31C). Underneath load it is about 36C-37C (Was About 39C-40C).These fans are incredibly thick even though so if you have a bottom mount PSU then you may well be like me and can not close the bottom of the side panel (if you mount a fan there). These fans are very loud at one hundred% so if you care about noise, you could not want to get these. If you do not care about how loud your personal computer gets, then I would surely recommend obtaining these fans.Quick processing and shipping (shipped from NJ to GA in two days and was in my hands on the 2nd day). Just yet another fantastic item from NewEgg.

Operates precisely as described. Pushes a ton of air and has lowered situation temps drastically. One of the two of these terrible boys develops a nasty clicking sound right after about 20 minutes of operation. It practically has to be a bearing as I can't see something physicly wrong with the fan. Also if I use my finger to slow the fan down for a moment the noise stops and only comes back following five-ten minutes. I've driven myself crazy searching for loose wires or anything that could be vibrating to the point exactly where I pulled the fan out and sat it on the counter and waited with it running. Yep, bad fan. Now the fan is out of stock so getting a replacement is going to be hard. Guess I have to live with this awful clicking noise till it can be replaced.

Quite powerful. Blows lots of air and keeps my stepsons CPU really cool. Louder than I expected I knew a fan like this was going to be loud, but this was even louder than I expected. My stepson doesn't appear to care a lot although, he prefers obtaining a four.2Ghz Phenom II to turning down the fan. At 40% energy (using NZXT Sentry 2 fan controller) the fan nevertheless generates a significant quantity of noise.

They push a lot of air. Tends to make clicking sound when utilized with a fan controller. I knew they were gonna be loud and thought it wouldn't bother me, but I just can't stand it anymore. I have 3 on my rad and was going to go with yet another three for push/pull, but not no far more.

Awesome fans. Yes, they are loud, but they also move A LOT of air. I purchased two of these to hook up to my Corsair H50 as a push/pull configuration on the radiator and they do not disappoint. Not actually a con or anything I'm gonna knock an egg off for, but at the time I purchased these I didn't recognize how thick these fans were. I blame my own ignorance trigger, now that I've taken a closer look at the pictures, it's apparent to me now. I had to modify the screws that came with my H50 to get it to fit. Just an FYI to anyone who decides to do the very same thing as me. I'd get these fans once again if I ever decided to make a new rig for me or someone I know. Like everyone else has stated, GET A FAN CONTROLLER! These issues had been obnoxiously loud to me at complete blast, but my fan controller solved that issue .

Somewhat quiet (compared to others)Moves a TON of air Type of loud at one hundred%? Not genuinely a con although, I knew what I was receiving into When I initially plugged it into my power provide to test it, I had it sitting on my desk. It blew itself across my desk into my thumb, and cut a fair quantity of flesh off. This thing is potent, and not a toy. Be cautious with it.

It pushes air like crazy. If I cup my hand it pushes it away with ease. Helps maintain the CPU ridiculously cool but that could be due to the con. The reason I took off an egg is because for whatever cause I can't get the fan speed to change. It's hooked into the mobo, and I can modify all the other fans' speeds, but this just wants to run at total blast. I may possibly attempt a different fan connection to see if it's just a issue with that connector, but appropriate now I'm thinking about replacing it since it sounds like a hairdryer regularly. If it'd slow down it'd be perfect.

This fan runs at about 2500rpm on my personal computer when the cpu is idle and even when playing games as i have a intel core i7 870 at 4.0ghz i had a fan that when i was plugging in my stereo that the fan blade sheered clean off! so i had to get a replacement fan but this fan had to be the very best fan i ever got as it is coupled with a 120mm thermaltake fan for my radiator. these two combined are rapid effective and cool my cpu to 35c idle. i would definitely advocate this fan to everyone that makes use of a water cooling method. do a push pull config with this and you will be pleased! incredibly loud but hey loud is much better! if you use a intel core i7 870 with a thermaltake prowater 850i use this fan and you can over clock your processor way superior than you can with just the stock fan but also not that this fan will require longer screws to be mounted to the radiator as it is 38mm thick exactly 13mm thicker than a regular 120mm fan!

The fans are a wonderful value. They move a TON OF AIR! I recommend working with a fan controller connected to these guys so that they do not run full all the time. The fans are thicker than 120mm Fans. I had to customize my case to be capable to accommodate the more substantial size and it was a tiny ugly but it worked. Loud when moving at total speed but that is expected.

Moves air like a beast! I have two of these little suckers in a push/pull configuration on an H50 CPU cooler, and they genuinely lowered my temps. Was idling at about 28-29C on a very rated air cooler with a "rev two" in it's name. I dropped the H50 in with these 2 fans running exhaust out the back of my case, and my idle dropped to 18-20C at stock speeds. I now have my 550BE OC'd to three.8GHz on a 1.5V bump, and the idle has increased to 25-26. Prime95 Can\'t make this setup exceed 33C! Really pleased with the results. I suggest getting them. At full speed these guys are quite loud. Not vacuum cleaners loud, or even hairdryer loud, but nevertheless...you know for positive they are working. Also, DO NOT be stupid and take care of them although running! I did, and got a goodly chunk of my thumbtip taken away for my stupidity. These fans WILL cut you badly if you don't respect them! In order to get my H50 operating with these fans I had to go to the neighborhood hardware retailer and obtain Ť 32TPI screws. I bought rubber washers to insert between the connectors and the fans, because these WILL rattle without some sort of dampening material. These fans push a ton of air, so make sure you have adequate ventilation or fans operating with them. I have an A30 case with 2 250mm fans pulling air into the case, and the Ultra Kaze's exhausting out. I may possibly add an additional exhaust fan to cope with the combined close to 200CFM the 250's are taking in. Also, you may well want to purchase a fan controller, as these operate wonderful when necessary, but can stand being turned down when not in complete cooling mode.

Moves a lot of air; durable; still working. On the highest setting they are really loud, but this is to be expected. The explanation I took off two eggs is because each fans I bought created a high-pitched rattle after a couple of months of use. They still work, but the noise is very annoying. I use a fan controller for the cpu and situation fans. I have at times been in a position to do away with the rattle for a short though by adjusting the fan speed, but it constantly comes back.
