Rather quiet fan when not operating at full speed, and pushes a decent quantity of air. Even though these certianly aren't the louded fan I've owned, and the cf/dB ratio is fairly very good, they are the loudest issue in my case when running at full tilt. No four-pin PWM manage. If you plan on working with these as a CPU fan rather than a case fan, you will not get variable speeds with a four-pin PWM header. These fans will only spin slower if you're working with a fan controller or you have a motherboard that supports ramping down fan speed with voltage regulated output rather than a PWM signal. Employing two of these with a initially series GeminII cooler. Completely silent. The airflow is good as nicely. Exactly where can you truly go wrong? I wish the fan was less costly, the shipping truly kills the cost. There should be an alternate way of shipping to lower costs on small products.

Quiet, moves air. power converter cable is a bit awkward. I have an exhaust fan on one more computer that sounds like a jet engine. I'm seriously considering of finding an additional one particular of these.

So quiet that I can not tell that it is on. none I have it installed on 3 various computer systems; An atom 330/modified APEX MI-008 Mini ITX case ,a Rosewill full ATX with Intel micro ATX 950 chipset and a passively cooled 8600 Nvidia video card along with a Scythe HDD anti vibration kit , and a Silverstone Kublai full ATX with an X38 gigabyte mother board and a passively cooled 8800 GT video card along with a Scythe HDD anti vibration kit.

Quiet as advertised. Would advocate for PCs where silence trumps efficiency. I agree it's not moving a lot of air, but it's not my primary exhaust fan so it's OK. three-pin connector, with included adapter for both molex and four-pin connections. I use it as an intake fan on my Antec 300. Since it's the most exposed component to my ears on the front of the case, my main objective is silence, which it is.

Extremely Quiet Hardly moves any air I use it for cooling my hard drives off. They were receiving hot but with this fan they only get a small warm.

Incredibly Quiet. 'Nuff said! Nope! Doesn't move a Huge quantity of air...see other thoughts. I knew going in that this fan doesn't move a Big quantity of air. It does move enough for my application although. I wish I would have purchased a cpu fan from these guys....I like birds!

Very first off, I didn't get these fans for use as a main program fan. I got two of them to supplement the airflow of some of the SY1225SL12M "Medium" slipstreams, but only essential 1. On a lark, I installed the other into a case that didn't have really quite a few components as the primary 12cm fan.If you require considerably airflow, don't use these fans solo. Nonetheless, if you've got a program that doesn't have things like discreet video cards and does have points like meticulously undervolted CPU's, this fan is tailor created for that. Really, really quietExactly as advertisedComes with all the connectors and screws you could want Might not move enough air for some people today If you want a silent fan to get the air moving about in your case, this is it. I run passive cooling on my CPU and video card so this is the only fan in my personal computer - it's almost silent. I am incredibly picky about noise, so if you are too, trust me, this fan is QUIET. It dropped my motherboard's temperature about 5 degrees when i stuck it as an intake at the front of my case, so it certainly moves air.

Plug them in, hold them near your face, and you'll barely hear them. No joke, they're QUIET! The trade-off is that they don't move a ton of air. They move some, and for reference they're much less than half as noisy as Antec's three-speed fans on low. (These replaced the Antec fans in my HTPC case.) Great for general case venting where you have to have to typically draw air via, but not in any hurry and don't require spot cooling. Don't move as a lot air as other fans, but they don't make as much noise as other fans do, either! Two of these added to an antec NSK-2480 into a actually silent case!
