Scythe SY1225SL12SL "Slipstream" Case Fan
Comment:
Excessively quiet, typical Scythe create excellent. None really. As others have said, moves very little air, but it does the job that I ordered it for (HTPC case). |

Scythe SY1225SL12SL "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:None
Pros:Virtually silent Comment:
These fans are perfect for HTPC's or any case that has large unobstructed fan grill openings. For computer cases with restrictive grills or filters the 800 rpm model would be more suitable I think. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SL "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Expensive for a fan, doesn't seem to move as much air as i was lead to belive from other review comments.
Pros:Very Quiet fan. Nearly silent. Comment:
Fans are decent and quietThey move some air, but not a whole lot. I'm a bit put off by the price, i would like to buy 3-4 more of these but can't justify 40$ on 4 fans:(. The cable is also quite short limiting the locations on the motherboard it can reach in a typical case. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SL "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:
None
Pros: Super Quiet, Well Built Comment:
These fans are easy to install, are well made and are very quiet. Although they have fewer RPMs than other fans, they still move a good amount of air. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SL "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Does not push a ton of air.
Pros:Quiet quiet quiet Comment:
This is by far the quietest computer fan I have (not) heard. For the low RPM this fan pushes a surprising amount of air. In retrospect, I should have gone with one of the higher RPM models of this fan because that still would have been much quieter than my PS and GPU cooler. This would be well suited to something like a HTPC. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SL "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:-low airflow, not for your gaming rig whatsoever
Pros:QUIET QUIET QUIET Comment:
I picked up two of these for a quiet office style computer that requires minimum airflow. Still, I was surprised by how much air they actually move. I have never seen nor "heard" a fan this quiet. I think they would be excellent in HTPC systems and I'm going to try them for that application as well. |
Quiet, low cost. Does not move a lot air. I read about the air movement and did not think how little air is move, can barely really feel it with my hand directly over it. In combination with silicon fan mounts, they practically make zero noise
