Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons: If you want whisper silent on your system, these aren't for you

Pros: Moves lots of air, not overly noisy at max and the price is amazing
Comment:
I bought 2 of these to mount to the top of my CM 690II, dropped the internal temp of almost all components about 8 degree (HD, GPU etc)

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons: Noise

Pros: Pushes ALOT of air vs fans at same and higher price brackets
Comment:
at under $10 per fan, you get what you pay for, and alot more. The price/performance ratio of this fan is superior to any other fan on the market. However, if you don't like the noise so much either buy a fan controller to lower noise when needed or buy either the 1k or 2k RPM variants of this fan.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons: Loud

Pros: Moves a lot of air
Comment:
Okay, at 3000RPM you shouldn't expect it to be quiet so stop complaining. The main point here is that it moves a lot of air at a low price. For those of you who games, it shouldn't be a problem since the sound effects should be enough to cover it.

Cons:It sounds really loud even at lower speeds.

Pros:High performance
Comment:
Purshased 2 of them for my HAF 922. I can say they are fast but really loud even when I set them to low. I almost can't hear my dafault fans in my case at the highest settings.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:Loud, 38mm thick

Pros:Moves Air, Very Powerful,
Comment:
I have 5 of these in my case they are soo loud. The fans are 38mm thick which is kind of a problem for most cases. Had to mod the case and fan a bit. But it does the the job. CPU temp never went higher than 39 degrees on load, I have a HD 4890 no more than 70 on Load. Really good fans just get a fan controller so you can lower the speed when you are no using it much.

Cons:loud

Pros:high static pressurehigh CFM
Comment:
I have one of these on the front intake of a CM-690 case and it works really well. It is pretty loud, but that's not a problem for me. If you want silent don't bother with these, but if you want to move some air... these are the ones.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:Loud as anything

Pros:Pushes a ton of air through.Cheap and powerful.
Comment:
This fan more than met my expectations with air flow, but the noise from it is astoundingly loud. Of course, this was all in the name of cooling my CPU, but it basically is all I can hear coming from the computer. Despite my efforts to lower the rate at which it's running at (now at 37.5%), it still is relatively loud. If one doesn't mind the sound, though, I'd recommend it.

Running 8 of these on my GTX480 radiator, the radiator never gets warm even after long gaming with Q6600 n 3.7GHz with an overclocked 4890. The noise isn't bad either very tolerable I can hear my TV fine in the same room.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:LOUD

Pros:PUSHES ARE AMAZINGLY! (is that even a word?)
Comment:
Great fan! Im definitely getting 4 more in the near future, It is loud but sound is not an issue to me. I love it! I put just one of them on my case door and it blows so much air in that my Heat sink fan didnt need to spin and it dropped my processor temps by 10 degrees, AND THATS JUST ON THE CASE DOOR! It even dropped my video card temps (GTX 275) and my motherboard and ram temps. Literally just one fan did all this, you can definitely feel the amount of air blown in just by putting your hand behind the fan. Definitely bang for the bucks, if you can handle the sound GO FOR IT!

Installed this fan on my Thermalright Ultra 120 heat sink and lowered my temps by 10 degrees. It's loud but I keep my computer outside my room, so noise doesn't really bother me.

I just recently discovered this brand...what a difference quality makes...got 2 of these on my TRUE BLACK and plan on replacing some of my case fans with these. They move a ton of air and run pretty quiet. I use a fan controller to make sure they don't run too fast/loud!Highly recommended

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:VERY, VERY!! loud, 45.9dba may not sound like much(again, no pun intended) but this fan is enough to make you deaf permanently.

Pros:Bought this to cool my intense gaming rig. Man was i ever blown away (no pun intended). This thing moves A LOT!!!!!!! of air. Felt like i was in a wind tunnel for a moment when i first started these babies up.
Comment:
Very good fan overall, pushses lots of air, drops LOADS of temps, but is wayy to loud. When it comes to gaming, you cant have anything distracting you, especially the noise from one of these babies. Would not buy again though.

Cons:-click,click,click...(explained later)-dam loud

Pros:-cheap-moves a lot of air
Comment:
So this thing moves a crap load of air on my TRUE 120 on my Q6600 OC'ed to 3GHZ it dropped my load temps by ~10 degrees over my Noctua P12...but it is too loud for me so I took it off 5 minutes after I put it on. It is now in my spare parts drawer...I ordered a panafloAs for the Click, click, click...if you undervolt the fan (slow it down) and put it on it's side it will start too click to do the poor bearing.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:Very loud at 3000 RPM but if you get yourself a half descent fan controller and lower the RPM's to 1000 or 2000 its great and then bump it back up to 3000 when gaming

Pros:Moves a ton of air, seems to be very well made and strong
Comment:
For the price it moves a ton of air, also they are pretty silent when u tone the rpms down. So far I have no complaints great fan!!

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:Very noisy unless you lower the speed with a fan controller

Pros:Very powerful fan with high static pressure, ideal for thick radiators
Comment:
I'm using this with a BI GTX240 radiator. Since the fins is very dense, I need a powerful fan and this one is the best I can get for a good price. With the fan power come lots of noise but this can be fixed by plugging it with a fan controller like a Kaze Master to adjust so it suit your own noise tolerance threshold.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:-loud as ****

Pros:-very cool (temperature)
Comment:
I would not buy another one of these again because it's too darn loud. Jason Oh said this thing was really loud, but I didn't care because my 4850 fans were hacked up to 6200rpm and I figured 3000rpm can't be nearly as bad. I was wrong. I can hear this fan in my case a level up from my (soundproof) basement. I took it out a few days after purchase and replaced it with a very quiet, cheap fan. The difference in my cpu was maybe... 1-2 degrees hotter? The performance is NOT worth the sound. If you're not sure, google search 45dba and see what else is that loud.

Cons:Very loud

Pros:Very high CFMStrong and sturdy
Comment:
Well if you are looking for some pure CFM these are the fans for you. They can move a tremendous amount of air through you case. It is thicker than your average 25mm, so there may be some scenarios where it does not fit. The one major drawback is that this fan is extremely loud.

Pros:Moves a lot air, fast! High RPM.

This is my ace-in-the-hole. I've placed this at the bottom of my Cosmos S case, as an intake fan. I wish I could adequately describe the amount of air this thing sucks in... It is truly tremendous. I am very happy with this product. 5 stars. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-16-08 01:30 PM

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:- Loud - Huge

Pros:- High static pressure - Pushes massive amount of air- Good price
Comment:
I've always wanted a fan that could move a lot of air so I decided to try this one. Man, this thing is a beast. I currently use it as a exhaust fan for my CM stacker 830 evo and all I can say is wow. It fits snug as a bug when secured in with a couple screws. This fan performs superb when coupled with the Scythe Kazemaster fan controller. This noise is noticeable but no one in my house has complained yet. I tend to make it quieter during the night hours though. This fan is perfect for exhaust but I bet it performs well for intake too. Would love to buy another if I can make room for it. I recommend this fan for extreme pc enthusiasts. Btw, this fan is priced just right too for such power.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:Loud

Pros:Great airflow improvement over stock fans
Comment:
Although they are loud, these fans give great cooling for the buck. Brought my whole system temperatures by about 5 degrees celsuis when running them at 60% over my stock fans. My case is a Thermaltake Swing running a core 2 dou E6600 overclocked at 3.2 gHz with a GeForce 8800 CTS ocd at core 648, shader 1500 and memory at 966.When running at 100% i get an 8 degree difference.Pretty good for screw in place air cooling.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:LOUD! and BIG! I had to do some heavy case modding (CM 690) to make these fit.

Pros:Mini hurricane in my CM 690 case. My current set up is I have 6 of these monsters running 3 Exhaust, 4 intakes, scythe plus rev.b ninja with 2 slipstreams mounted on it, with the SCURK1 back mounting set, and a small scythe kama flex 80mm fan on the back of my mobo. There would have to be a heat wave, with my AC broken, and my windows shut for my cpu to push over 50 degrees under heavy load.
Comment:
Overall I'm stoked about these. They run great (my temps never pass 45 degrees under heavy load i.e COD 4, msn, xfire, vent, and other background programs for hours upon hours.)4.5 stars because they are loud! and BIG!But I invested in a great pair of headsets and I can't hear them at all, the only weakness I think is the width. 38mm was too big for my top exhaust in my case (CM 690) so I had to cut out the top and use longer screws to make it fit. It would have fit fine if I didn't have a big heat sink (scythe ninja rev b with 2 mounted fans).IMO buy it if you have the room in your case, if you don't you can always buy the slightly weaker of this fan, the scythe slipstream 1900 RPM fan. It produces less noise I think it was 39DBA, and it's smaller 20mm in width, however good luck getting them they are always out of stock.

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA
Cons:A Little Thicker Than Conventional 120MM Fans; May Not Fit For All Applications

Pros:Excellent DesignVery Powerful
Comment:
This fan definately fits the category of 'Beast' Powerful indeed, but it's downfall is that it's a little more bulky. Shouldn't be a problem if you've got a larger case with good modular capability. A must-have for the air cooling enthusiast.
