Overall Sennheiser headset's provide one of the best quality microphone's in the industry and offer second to none sound clarity. As a stereo headset they are adequete and quite nice as well. But again these are designed as a mic headset and not stereo headphones.

This being my first set of Sennheiser headphones, I am thankful the NCIX representative suggested these. Not only was the sale price good ($29.99), but the sound was surprisingly clear for pop, rock, jazz, and classical music.They obviously don't have the comfort (or price tag) of Bose headphones; however, I personally did not have a problem with the foam pads on the earpieces, even with extended use (7 hours of recording and playback).I purchased a set of headphones because I needed the recording capabilities, and the mic did not dissappoint. The only concern I had was its ability to pick up constant static, which I presume is more of an issue with case fans in the chassis. It is easily cleaned with with a freeware sound-editing program like Audacity.I would buy again, and would recommend this to family and friends looking for a budget-priced headset.

I bought these hoping for something better than a set of Logitech USB that I got a good while back. The Logitech has BIG bass, very poor trebble. These have AMAZING trebble, with very poor bass (which even fraps out if you try to EQ it up enough).I like to listen to music, and play FPS like Crysis and HL2. These are very clean sound until you try to hear the bass on Outkast, or a decent frag, or even the deep lows of a strider in HL2.I am sadly left with the final thought that I will just have to buy some $100 Grado's, and duct-tape a seperate microphone onto them, to really get good sound AND the ability to talk. Got these on sale for $25, got what I paid for.

For those who don't know Sennheiser, Sennheiser is established in 1945 in Wedemark, Germany, Sennheiser is the acknowledged world leader in microphone technology, RF-wireless and infra-red sound transmission, headphone transducer technology, and most recently, in the development of active noise-cancellation. Now for those who think that's cheap, keep in mind that it's not possible for low price of these PC131 to get everything. In this case, earing hurts is normal after 3 hours.

Got this headset when it was on special during boxing day, great sound for the price. My only negative is that they hurt my ears after a while.

i got this on special for 24.99 and it is even better than i expected. the sound quality is very good and the long cable helps too. theres a big sound difference between those and my cheap cyber acoustic headset. the only thing i dont like is that the microphone is a bit short and not very flexible but i still recommend those especially for the price.

overall the sound was great and the mic but after wearing it for a few hours my ears hurt so bad i dont know why mabye because of the size of my head but i eventually got used to it in a few weeks. it feels very cheap and i personally didnt .like these. the cord is stringy and not durable at all.

Sound great, not the best of sennheiser but for the money its a good deal. Comfortable. Nice item. Black finish.
