Case appears really classy. Lots of interior space. PSU mount gives you numerous possibilities as to how you want your PSU intake/exhaust fans configured. 5.25" and 3.5" bays are customizable, i.e. you can place them in any configuration you want. Front energy/hdd LED are about 5x brighter than they will need to be, you get employed to it, but its nonetheless semi-annoying. Case has overall superior develop top quality (reminds me a lot of Antec circa 2004), but the case panel on the leading doesn't like to line up adequately as very easily as it should. This suggests you finish up spending about 1-three min getting the panel lined up and in, when it ought to be much more like 10-15 seconds. If you're like me and utilizing your old gaming rig as an HTPC, you can't go incorrect with this case. For 贄 i dont see how you can get a classier looking case. The case's front panel very easily rivals my 赨 coolermaster all aluminum case for create quality/looks. |

Sturdy; very good included literature; properly ventilated; lots of additional screws Very same as absolutely everyone else: modern video cards (like you'd want in a media center) encroach on the difficult drive space. I got a single drive there and had to put the other in one of the slots intended for external 3.5" drives. It's a good searching case, but absolutely not low profile. Make certain to measure the space you'll be putting it in. |

Case is incredibly properly created, and clean, very good top quality from SilverStone. Its a bit tight inside but if you take away all the drive cages, it works out. I purchased this as I had the ATX guts of a quite highly effective system left over from some upgrades so I believed I would build myself a media unit. If you purchase a PSU for this, get 1 that pulls from the bottom, then out the back. Their is a vent right there to pull outside air into the supply. The a single I had already is front to back airflow so its sucking warm air from the case, then out the back. I am sure I will be acquiring a new PSU soon sufficient. Nothing against SilverStone, but NewEgg Shipping Dept. Come on guys, their are rebates on almost almost everything you sell, next time, dont put the UPS label over the UPC sticker on the box. In all the years I have been getting from NewEgg this is the first time I have ever had any issues at all, so I am not to upset. The front door stays closed, but would be good if it had a magnetic latch to hold it. My spare components media center came out fairly good. |

looks truly nice, quite solid, cools well for me, quite solid, i agree with pretty much all the other pros men and women have written cable management is terrible..... seriously really bad.... i wish the power supply was on the "normal" side... i'm not a massive fan of the bays are set up, but it operates nicely sufficient for me, given that i won't be in it now that it is all set up.... i don't like how the "door" opens and closes, it would be nice if it was magnetic or latched or some thing i didn't have the very same difficulties that persons have had with the video card, but i could see how it would be an issue, install actually wasn't incredibly difficult, i would get it once again, it looks darn fantastic |

Outstanding good quality case. Plenty of space for extra drives. I like the totally hidden front panel due to the fact it's for my home server. Takes common size power supply and complete ATX motherboard which was excellent considering that I built my WHS from largely "left over" elements except for a new pair of 1 TB WD Green tough drives.Fastest rebate I've had...received in 4 weeks. Easy to drop modest screws for the drive cages into the case. Support bar down the middle is a nuisance and appear unnecessary as the case is rather rigid. I wanted to place my WHS on the loved ones area Tv stand to get it out of my workplace which was getting warm from too several computers. This looks fantastic with the plain front panel and related size to my other components. |

Nicely vented, quiet fans, lots of drive bays, smooth action on the front pannel, fairly light-weight however sturdy, sleek / clean appearance, PSU mount is reversible ( I installed mine so the commonly bottom-facing fan is exhausting air from the PCI card region ). A little tight to run PSU cables all through, could be deeper ( front to back wise ), extremely vivid LED ( wish it was amber, a less visually distracting color ), glaring white 'SilverStone' logo on the front ( detracts from the simplicity of the unit, which I like ), couldn't use middle drive bay with a full-size graphics card -> With an A7N8X ( ATX ) board installed, my ASUS FX 5900 actually touched my HDD's, and blocked the SATA power plug, even with the fan bracket removed. I had to stash them below the floppy drive, and hope they don't get too hot. Every single chassis has a tricky element, and while the screws to the front bays were annoying to operate with, there are only six in total and seriously not that tough if you're a small dexterous. Even though I like the style, I don't seriously like the ultra-brite LED's in the front of the unit, but want at least the power LED so I can tell when it's on - it's that quiet. I resolved this dilemma with a tiny Sharpie action - now it's visible but dull sufficient not to distract me although watching a movie. The most disappointing element of this chassis is that with a full-sized graphics card, I couldn't get my HDD's installed in the middle bay, with or with out the fan. Ideally, I'd have that 9x9 fan keeping 'em cool, but until I get a new card ( it's an AGP mobo... don't see that happening ), they're stuck elsewhere. Otherwise, no complaints - this unit looks very fairly sitting alongside my amplifier and other property theater equipment. |

Complete ATX MB and PS; Sleek/Clean front design; Looks fantastic with my current entertainment center systems - I agree with other individuals that nothing at all is uglier than seeing ports and bays on a htpc when not in use; Solid case with multiple cooling config selections. Internal reminded me of the old steel 386 cases from packard bell - removable drive bays a little inconvenience to get to/work with; prefab bay holes don't truly line up nicely and had to invest some time lining the drives up seamlessly to bay. For any decent video card or dual cards you'll have to get rid of the middle three.5 drive bay to accommodate length and plugins. Not a important problem as I chose to house two HDDs and a 3.five card reader in the left 3.5 bay. General I'm quite satisfied with the product - a great acquire for me. |

I purchased this case initially not understanding if I wanted a basic HTPC enclosure, or if I wanted something genuinely fancy with a touch screen. I looked at numerous of the high end HTPC circumstances like the Zalman HD160 prior to ordering this Silverstone. I could not be happier with the buy. The case looks appropriate at residence in my Bello stand with other high finish stereo gear. It does not draw focus to itself and looks suitable at property. The flip down door is good to hide the DVD drive, floppy, card reader, whatever actually. Lots of flexibility in this case. In the end, I'm genuinely glad I got this case vs some of the a lot additional high priced ones on the market place. It exceeded my expectations with respect to fit and form. Newegg was quick as usual w/ their shipping. The blue LEDs for the power and HDD are insanely bright. I left the HDD 1 disconnected and applied a small piece of foam to knock down the brightness of the power LED for now. The subsequent time I'm in the case, I will almost certainly add a resistor to the power LED to tame it down. Case is hosting a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L mobo and Earthwatts 430W power provide and 1 Seagate SATA drive The included 80mm silverstone fans are not poor noise wise, but I consider I will be swapping them out for some quieter Enermax ones soon. |

Incredibly solidly built. Plenty of space for extra drives. The only access to the front USB and audio ports is by flipping down the front cover, which then have to be left open whilst they are in use. This leaves the complete unit exposed to damage and is rather ugly. The only other complaint I had was that the trays for the 5.25' drives covered so considerably of the principal motherboard plug in that I had to remove the tray in order to plug the 20 pin connector in. I wish this thing had been a small smaller |

Adore the look and shape of this case. Clean and only a single energy button. Cost is wonderful for this good of a case All the front connector cables come out to the left of the case, but your MB connectors will be to the right, had to reroute. I assume my drives hung more than the MB, so getting power and SATA with drives almost touching the MB was Quite tight. Included 80MM fans were a bit loud for me. None |

Ya you could add an LCD display and have space for far more factors, and so on... but if the case specifications fit your desires, it's a well produced case. Incredibly good-looking, quite solidly built. Just as so numerous reviewers have pointed out, this case has severe design flaws. You can fairly considerably forget about the middle basket if you are using any modern video card, and fitting just two hard drives and a media reader in the proper one took playing some practical tetris. Come to feel of it, where would you put ANY three.5" drives if you want 3-way SLI??!! It appears that not everyone here has had this a lot disappointment, which is odd, contemplating my prior case was a small form element (Ultra MicroFly), and it had A LOT a lot more useable space and expansion possibilities. I guess I can only attribute it to my motherboard choice, so beware that it is actually not a good selection with ASUS P6T, you will have the worst time with cable management. I guess I really should understand to listen to negative evaluations superior prior to I buy. |

Solid develop excellent and very plain front. When the door is closed it looks absolutely nothing like a pc. Brushed aluminum is really nice. The interior layout is quite nicely thought out and air flow is very superior as well. A 92 or 80 mm fan is moutnable forward of the difficult drives and the two rear included 80 mm fans are somewhat silent. The blue led lights are somewhat vibrant which has become somewhat normal with pc equipment lately. Component installation is far more time consuming than other cases, but offers greater cable management and airflow so the tradeoff is worth it. This case is gorgeous in my entertainment center. The black front blends with the rest of my stereo equipment, the door hides the fact that it's a Pc.It's 17" wide, the common size for A/V equipment. There's space for extended video cards or lots of hard drives. No rattles when all the screws are tightened down.Excellent cooling for the CPU. This case doesn't even try to be tool-much less. To get the center difficult drive bay out you have to take away ten screws (of two diverse varieties), which is ridiculous. The seventh three.five" drive bay (under the five.25 bays) is not advertised for a reason - the mounting holes are drilled at the wrong height. It'll function if you bend the flat support plates down, although. Clearance is really tight to the motherboard, but I did fit a drive there (with a MSI P965-DS3 motherboard). The intake fan by the CPU socket overhangs the motherboard if you use a standard thickness 80mm fan. The front intake fan (inside the center hard drive bay) seems pointless because there's no front-panel vent. The 3.5" and 5.25" drive bay covers are painted steel, not aluminum, and don't fairly match the front panel. Not a large deal due to the fact they're behind the door. The included fans are noisy, and seem inexpensive. It'd appear far better with a more discreet Silverstone logo. Even with all those negatives, I'd nonetheless obtain this case once again. It looks fantastic, and will take a common ATX motherboard. Now that it's assembled I don't program on upgrading it, so it doesn't matter how many screws there are holding it together. Other comments:The LEDs are way too bright. I added a 27k resistor in series with the energy LED and disconnected the HDD LED (the blinking is genuinely annoying). The body of the case is painted steel, not brushed aluminum. It's a pebbly texture that doesn't show fingerprints, and looks okay. There's no standard case speaker included (but who cares these days?)This case is huge. Remember that the cables will add two" or so to the depth - it just barely fit on the shelf in my entertainment center. |

Silverstone High quality - Even for a steel case, the overall quality of this unit is fairly high. Dual 80mm fans are good and quiet. There's a lot of external vents to permit for decent heat dissapation. Effortlessly accomodates a micro-ATX / common ATX motherboard. All-in-all, it functions well, is reasonably quiet, is regular component-sized (blends perfectly with other residence entertainment equipment - home theatre receivers, amplifiers, and so on.) - an excellent HTPC case for this cost point. Only consists of two 80mm rear case fans...although the case itself supports many much more. Case does not include vibration dampening grommets, so if you want to make certain vibration free operation, you'll have to spring for the power provide, fan and drive grommets oneself. This was a small disappointing, considering that the quantity one priority in an HTPC case is silent operation. I knew this ahead of time, even so, and for the cost, what can I say. If you're working with a huge HDCP-compliant video card (think ATI 4870 or GTX260) you'll have to take away the internal HDD cage (center cage) in order to get the card to fit. This generally isn't a problem, given that you can use the adjacent cage (which would be applied for floppy or other three.five" drives needing exterior access). I basically left the three.five case covers on, and mounted my drives in that cage rather. This does present a challenge if you want to double this as an HTPC / Media Library that utilizes a number of HDDs. Removing the center cage means you can only mount three HDDs and nonetheless enable for cooling. Speaking of cooling, if you use a big CPU cooler, like the Zalman CNPS9500, you can anticipate some of this fan noise to be audible, since the case exterior has many vents. |

Exceptional cost for a steal and aluminum case. The front panel is amazing and minimalist, not distractingThe weight and feet on the bottom make it impossible to slide, very good if you have it on leading of a cabinetGreat cooling layout Drive bays:I couldn't use the middle drive bay mainly because of my video card, so I ended up making use of the other bay, which is directly in front of the power supply. The drives inserted left really little room for the energy cables and sata cables. I couldn't fit a fan on the side intake because my mobo (gigabyte UD3R) had a heatsink factor there.Front panel connections hard to reach with bays in, but that's my fault The blue LED isn't really as bright as some make it out to beThe dual 80mm fans are somewhat loud for an HTPC |

This case looks wonderful and has very great construct good quality. Air flow seems to be reasonably good; my hardware is staying cool inside it, anyway. The wires for the front USB ports are held together in a solid plug, which makes hooking it up so significantly easier. Even with an extra fan in the front, it stays fairly quiet if you maintain the door on the front closed. Overall, I'm really happy with this case. If you have both a long video card and a lengthy PSU, some creative re-arrangement is necessary. The PCI slot openings in the back have notches at the bottom for the small metal tab on the bottom of the card bracket (the metal tab that slides into the bottom of the case, beneath the edge of the motherboard). If the tabs on your cards are straight, you'll have a tough time acquiring them to press all the way down into the slot. I had to bend mine a bit with a pair of pliers just before they would fit. There are two three.five" bays: 1 in the middle and one on the proper side (when you're standing behind the case). The middle bay has a bracket for a fan, and the correct side bay does not. If you have a long video card, but nonetheless want to use that middle bay with the fan, do this: Get rid of both bays. Mount your fan in the bay from the middle, then put it back in the spot where the right-side bay was. You'll have to shove on it, but it'll fit. This puts the fan behind the openings for the floppy drives; this delivers great airflow, but it also signifies you can't put a floppy drive in it if you do this. |
