Functions extremely well as soon as it was installed correctly. The hold down screws that connect the adapter to the DVI port are modest and though they are slotted there is no way a single can get a driver in to tighten them simply because of the shape. I applied micro needle nose pliers to do the job. It worked but took 5 times longer than it need to have. Originally I had a challenge. The screen had a red just about florescent tinge. I contacted the video card manufacturer and was told it was the adapter. The adapter worked fine on a unique personal computer. I looked closely at the original card and discovered that a blade connector was tweaked. Straightened it and now my 27" LCD Television is now my second monitor.

I purchased this thing just so I wouldn't have to go commit 100-200 bucks on a new flatscreen that has a DVI plug in for my Nvidia 9800 GTX, This factor works fantastic it has really excellent screws to retain it firmly in spot and is built well for the three bucks you spend for it. The shipping, luckily I bought some other stuff to come with it but yeh...

Performs as needed. Carries all data from DVI to D-SUB VGA. I only necessary it to adapt from my video card to an old monitor on a DOS box due to the fact my video card only has DVI operating.
