Comment: i love this mouse. i won it from one of Esther's early facebook contests, and if i had to get a new mouse pad, i would definately buy another one of these, it is so smooth, my mice glides flawlessly across it, almost too easily. my only mousepad 8-ish years ago was a foam piece of garbage from the dollar store that died in a few months, and since i been using various surfaces (books, boxes, desks, even the top of my case). so glad i have this pad now. =D

Comment: OK first of all, I'm a moron. I'm a gamer, overclocker, LOVE buying new PC parts and upgrading any part of the system I can. Now that I have an OC'd I7 and all the acompanyments I'm sad that I have no reason to brows the NCIX sale ever week. So, I bit the bullet and bought a new mouse pad. I know, big decision after dropping about $500 on parts less then a month ago. lol. Anyways, Iv'e been using a dollar store mouse pad.... seriously. This is the first "real" mouse pad I've ever bought.Can't believe how sweet it is. Huge,smooth as glass,smells like awesome chemicals from china,buy one now.

It offers more control in fps games compared to my old mouse pad with a plastic surface. Although I'd recommend the bigger sizes when it comes to value, I had to settle for the Medium size due to the limiting factor of what my desk had room for even though it was priced the same as a couple larger sizes when I brought it. due to the limiting factor of what my desk had room for. It could be quite different from the optical mouses. The upper surface of this thing is very smooth that you'll feel you are using a mouse on the glasses. The backside face was pretty good that it fits most of the table surfaces and stick on it so well that gives you a stable mouse pad surface you can work on. But it was rolled in the package (why do they do this anyway?), so it took sometime to really become finally perfectly flat probably about a week or so, anyway overall it not a big issue. Also it's a little bit hard to clean, I use my car vacuum but maybe there are good ways to do it tho. The size is 12 x 11 inch which is definitely enough for most of the uses. Actually a little too big, but as long as I can fit it with my laptop and carry it easily I am satisfied.

It has way more surface area.The best part is that a cloth pad actually has less friction than a hard surface due to the softness. Furthermore, the hard surface will eventually wear away the teflon on your mouse feet much faster, resulting in areas of the mouse pad that preferentially 'tefloned.'It's not that hard to clean. Just blow some air on it before the dust is ground into the cloth.
