Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 W/120MM Fan
Cons:A little on the flimsy side and does not have long enough wiring for the fan controller/fan. Big.

Pros:It's a big heatsink and fan that simply does the job at the right price.
Comment:
Just installed it and along with other peripheral fans the e8500 cpu idles at around 32-34C. my First aftermarket sink and will pay more for something better made and a bit shorter as it is very long.Comes with fan controller that mounts at the back of the comp alongside the pci(e) cards. If you want quality, research and spend more. If on a budget, this will do the trick

Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 W/120MM Fan
Cons:Spring retention clips for fan very flimsy

Pros:Quiet fan, lots of TIM included, excellent cooling
Comment:
I have always had stock cpu heatsinks but after reading several of the reviews on this I decided to order it for my new Q9450. Installation was pretty easy however I do not have alot of faith in the tension clips that hold the mounting bracket to the mobo for the fan itself, the fan is heavy and large and those for little pressure clamps look a little undersized. I guess I will just be careful if I am moving the unit. The spring arms that hold the fan to the fin assembly are also very very flimsy, they are actually a little bowed out of shape but seem to be holding the fan still so I will leave them for now.CPU has been running very cool, only reading at 30'c but that is at stock, haven't had time to try OC'ing.

Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 W/120MM Fan
Cons:Really need to watch what where everything on your board and case as it takes up alot of realstate around it

Pros:OC running my 5600 at 3.2 and voltage at 1.575 and running cool at 25c ran a SML FFT for eight hours and all it did was max 35c on full load for gona blend test later today
Comment:
who needs water cooling when you got antec 900 + Sunbeam core freezer and cpu boosted at least 15% at full load = 35c you do the math!

Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 W/120MM Fan
Cons:Packaging isn't the greatest and heatsink blades are thin - a couple were slightly bent upon arrival. It's big. Be careful about small cases (and maybe even midtowers w/ a side panel fan). Only allows one fan.

Pros:Good cooling performance. Strong support bracket and easy installation.Comes with good quality thermal paste. It's so cheap!
Comment:
Quality heatsink for the price! My Q6600 (G0) is at 3.4ghz off of air cooling and loads at around 65C (max < 70C). This heatsink is large - the only way i could orientate it on my P5Q-E was to place the fan facing the top (it hit the northbridge if i pointed the fan towards the back).

Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 W/120MM Fan
Cons:The fins are a little flimsy, when putting the clips for the fans, clips would bend the top 2 fins, however its not a serious problem.the shape of and size of the heatsink/fin only allows 1 fan to be placed on it, so no push and pull action of more cooling.

Pros:Pretty amazing heatsink when you look at the priceThe web reviews are right about this heatsinkThe fan is very quite as wellEasy to install the big boy
Comment:
Its a great heatsink for the price. Hopefully more ppl would try it since Sunbeam is not really a big name in this cpu cooling business. I am getting good idle temps, always below 40s p 26c ambient, load at 55c.

Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 W/120MM Fan
Cons:Huge, and you should take out the mb from your case to install or it will most likely be a massive headache.

Pros:Awesome cooling. Great for OC. Comes with really good thermal compound. The retention bracket thing works really well.
Comment:
I had ordered with my new build but it was sent later. I guess they had ran out of stock even though lots were showing. I couldn't wait and set up the system with stock cooling reaching an oc of 2.8 on the Q6600 and it was getting pretty hot. Well this sucker came and I tried to install it right inside the case after removing the crappy stock cooler and cleaning up the thermal compound. This didn't work out well, and had to remove the motherboard. The reason being it's too big to be able to properly manuvure inside the case. (Antec 900) The install went smooth after removal.Anyway there was a massive difference in temps. I'm currently at 3.01 GHZ with all cores loaded in Prime 95 temps rarely reach 50 degrees and that's mostly on hot days. I feel very safe in going higher yet. I could not be happier with the Sunbeam Core. Awesome product!

Cons:Not as good as I thought it would beClips are a bit difficult to installNo possible upgrades for a backplate

Pros:Good coolingCheap! $30Great for O/CingFan controller includedTX-2 included is very good

Overall, this is an awesome heatsink. Keeps my e8400 at stock cool at 38 idle, and 43 load, with an ambient of about 28. For $30, you can't go wrong. Definitely one of the better buys at NCIX. Highly recommended.

Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 W/120MM Fan
Cons:none that i see

Pros:-extremely good at cooling -28C off stock cooling for me-free quality thermal paste-the fan moves tons of air compaired to alot of 120mm fans i seen-simple install
Comment:
got this just a couple days ago now i got a Q6600 B3 oced at 3.2ghz x8multiplyer now befor on the stock cooling i cleaned and reapplyied thermal paste several times and the best i could get oced like this was underloads 85C a core or idle 63-65C now on the other hand with this badboy installed its at 45c a core idle and 60c tops i seen underload now im sure you all know how bad the q6600 B3's are for heat and ocing im sure this would perform just as good on any other cpu it supports and i would fully recommend this to anyone who is in the need of a good heatsink. also i tryed the scythe ninja befor too and this thing is 10x better at cooling cheaper then it was and a TON easyier to install specially on the asus maximus formula se with the big heatsinks
