I got this guy to replace an existing fan controller that was the wrong color. It's pretty cool so far, mind numbingly simple to install. The only problem I can see is that with my fans at least, they stop spinning before you reach the point where the variable resistor shuts off, so when the controller kicks off on a channel, the fan has already stopped moving which defeats the point. This would be different depending on the fan I suppose.

Very cool. I have 4 fans hooked up over 2 knobs (because its more convienient, and because I can). So far everything works fine and you can even turn the fans all the way off. If you sleep by your computer and the noise/light bothers you, this is just the thing you need.

Bought to compliment my Antec 900 after I saw a couple other people with the same controller and to be able to adjust fan speeds (and volume) without having to remove side panel. Installation was a little trickier than I would have liked due to how far in on the HD cage the connections sit when the unit is installed and also due to the little space I had between the cd rom and the HD cage. I also wished there was four included 4 pin to 3 pin molex cables than the included two. This would have made use of this with the 900 much easier and less cluttered. (when using the stock fans)The leds could be considered a tad bright by some, especially if it is beside your bed, but my computer is in an office and the glow from the leds (combined with the leds from the 900 fans) just gives off the right amount of light for me to be able to move about the room without having to turn on the lights.Good points include the price of the unit. (I PM'd the item and saved even more) The switches are sturdy, click when turned to the 'off' position and the leds go from red to blue when you hit 7 volts. Also, in my application I placed the controller above my cd rom and because of the leds, I can see they cd tray fine and dandy without having to turn on another light. (no more dinged cds/dvds!)Overall, a great product for the money!

This fan controller is awesome. With 20W per channel you can have multiple fans/lights on each channel. I have 3 2000RPM Scythe Kaze fans on one, and it can power them fine. The LEDs are way too bright to use if your PC faces your bed. They will keep you up all night (nothing a black marker can't fix though). The controller isn't quite powerful enough for my MCP655.

I have this in my Antec 900. It seems to work well so far. Helps to keep the fan noice down. I like the LEDs as they change color at 7V so I can get a good feel as to where half speed is.I thought the channels could power more, but I have more than one fan on a channel and the multiple fans do not reach as high of a speed as the other channels with a single fan.You have to turn the 200mm antec 900 fan speed up to full to get it moving, you can turn it down from there.

Great fan controller for the price, couldn't ask for anything more out of this unit. Dials seem good quality and have a click off position to cut power to the fan when desired.

If you are looking for something that does the job without looking completely ridiculous like some of these fancy super bright, flashy, light up panels, this is for you. I haven't tried yet but I am sure you can disable the lights if it bothers you enough...

This is a great controller unfortunetly there is no temp reading or alarms but besides that i would recommend this to anyone, eaven just as a xmas gift, GREAT

The Sunbeam kit is very affordable and recommended for that extra fan control. Need some quiet? Turn them down. Playing games? Crank them up. This thing does what its supposed to very well. Worth the money, totally. If only those LEDs were a little dimmer, but I have a door on my case, so whatever.

This thing, for the price, is unbeatable. Doesn't do anything fancy, but does its job perfectly. Some people complain that half of the knobs rotation isn't used (ie - voltage is too low to turn fan), but the knobs are linear and the way it should be.

Bought as a fan controller and works as it should, great for price. Did some very quick, easy, minor adjustments to leds to tone down their intensity. Nice and shiny. Had trouble with fitting it into my panel in Antec 3600BQE case since only 1 set of screws would fit so when placing it in the end wasn't steady. End result, it's still a recessed a bit from what would be ideal but ok. For an item that will always go in front of the case, the fan connectors and extensions were of insufficient length to actually be of use. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-30-07 08:06 PM

All-in-all, I recommend this to anyone looking for a fan controller. Its inexpensive, works exactly as you'd imagine, looks not too bad and provided you have a front door on your case, you can overlook the superbright LED's! A win win all around!

this is a great product that does exactly what it says. you can control anything that plugs into it. has a lot of juice for each plugin. nice grippy knobs. quality! just turn the knobs down till they just get to the red light and the comp is quiet! but crank em up for games. exactly what i needed to control my fans. the only complaint i have is that the LED lights are really bright, especially the blue ones.

About the best 5.25" fan controller you are going to get. It offers a whopping 20w per channel so grouping multiple fans per channel is a non existent issue. Being able to turn fans completely off with a nice audible click is nice too. Be prepared to do some modding if the LED's are within your range of vision or you will seriously be blinded.

The LEDs were driving me nuts, even with my P180's door closed, but simple resistors fixed this issue for a few pennies. Other issue is that you only use the dials between about 1:30 (5V) and 6:00 (12V) since most fan don't work under 5V. It would be better to have 5V-12V and off. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Rheobus... let's me turn down my fans when I do office work and crank them up for gaming. I like "no bling" designs and didn't need temperature/RPM displays so it seemed like the best product for my use. By the way, the product displayed on NCIX as of today (Jan 22 '07) is the older version. They ship the new version though, which looks better IMO.

this is a great product and the only thing i can say bad about it is that the LED burnt out. it can run fans at there lowest of speeds and it looks really nice with its ano finish, all thow the adjuster nobs are not all lined up as well as i want them to be. i will be seeing about getting this fan speed controler warentyed soon.

Overall, great product, although a little behind in the mounting technology...why the LEDs are so bright is beyond me, but the colour switching is nice, makes it easy to know what voltage you're at. Makes my PC much quieter :)

Installed it in my brand spanking new Raidmax X-1 Case and I love it! Works flawlessly, had a little trouble installing it cause the knobs stuck out too far to allow the case door to close properly, but that's the case's flaw, not the controller. Doesen't at all feel cheap, it was well made, smooth and good quality rheostats are a pleasure to use. Two big thumbs up for this fan controller!

...controls my 8 120mm fans in my Stacker 830 perfectly and the leds shine right through the mesh in the door...great product...too bad it was backordered at NCIX so I had to go elsewhere to get it...:(

this is a must have for everybody that as 4 case fans... the controls are precise and the unit itself is very well made. a high quality product! Only complaint is the leds that are too bright... but my case as a door that covers the front of the case so i really dont care about it ;-)

Good for the basic fan controll, perfect if you're not into flashy things. unlike me i want something brighter and nicer.
