Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:tends to oscillate a bit >3.5 even with the rubber padding
Pros:very handy native 1/2, adjustment is tremendously useful to adjust noice/flow rate. Comment:
this is an amazing product with an equally attractive warranty. Will accommodate most setups during refills adjustment becomes especially handy, very simple to install in a number of configuration as well as very sturdy to install & re-install throughout multiple setups / rigs. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:Makes a high pitched noise, much like coil whine, at speeds 4+No monitoring of RPM to check for pump failure
Pros:Super quietCan change speed if neededGreat for the priceStrong Comment:
This is a great pump, pushes through almost anything you can push at it. Some would prefer the MCP355 with an aftermarket top, but this thing just can't be beat in terms if silence. On speed 1, even my fans are louder than this. Highly recommended for the silent user. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:hard to adjust once installed
Pros:Strong pumpReplaceable tops Comment:
Excellent pump, able to push enough water for even the biggest loops. Pretty quiet on every speed with a bit of vibration on the lower speeds. Alot larger than I thought it would be. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:hard to get 7/16 tubing over the plastic barbs
Pros:strong pump, good price Comment:
I rebuilt my loop and added this pump and i must say - this thing is freaking amazing. crazy powerful at a good (tad high) price. It is pretty silent, with a light hum at full speed - but you cant hear it over the rad fans.very happy overall, and would recommend to anyone else. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:fixed tubing sizesize
Pros:flow ratevariable with a screwdriver Comment:
Nice pump. high flow rate even if its not the better one. pretty cheap too. i've tried 2 full water cooling setup and im now stuck with a CoolIT Boreas and beleive me, you can achieve the temp that a TEC can give you with a watercooling setup.. im able to drop the CPU beyond the room temp even under a nice overclock. Nice pump, but consider other option before buying a full water kit. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:- Large pump; Installation can be cumbersome.
Pros:- Reliable (Bought my first one when they first came out and it's been in use ever since).- Powerful.- Quiet (Speed can be adjusted but I have it on max speed all the time). Comment:
I got my first MCP655 when they first came out to replace a 115v Eheim 1048 pump that bit the dust. It's been running for around 2 years now and has made it into several of my rigs. I liked it to much that I bought a second pump and have them running in the same loop (for increased flow).Bar none the most reliable 12v pump you can get. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:-Little larger than I expected
Pros:-Quiet-Powerful Comment:
This pump is among the list of things I purchased for my first venture into water cooling. I figured that I'll probably end up expanding my loop later on to cool GPUs as well so I'd be better off getting a powerful pump now and not need to upgrade it later on.Amazing is all I can really say for it. While first filling the loop as soon as I turned on the PSU the hose leading to this from the res and the res itself almost disappeared in a heartbeat. After filling and looking at the turbulence in the res before I gave it the final top-up I'm glad I got this. I have no doubts that it will be able to run 3 blocks and 2 rads without any worries at all.Fast math:1200L/H = 20L/M20L/M / 750ml coolant = 26.67 circulations per minuteThat means that every 2.25 seconds (assuming max flow rate) my coolant does an entire trip around the loop! Mind boggling. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-02-09 11:46 AM |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:none
Pros:quality brandgood flowpowerfull Comment:
I choosed this pump for my wc loop. This is great only 1 cpu water block + 2x120mm rad. I tryied the smaller version but this one is definately the best. Silent, no vibrations + I noticed that it is almos cool, so no heat dump in the loop.1/2 fittings ROCKS, no speed adjustment ( I don't care I have 110cfm fans) Best pump around here, no mess, go swiftech |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:A little huge, mounting options are not good enough.
Pros:Powerful and quiet. Comment:
This is an awesome pump, plenty of power and quite quiet. The only complaint I have about it is the mounting part....it's not easy to do so, and includes through bolts but other than that you've gotta use the strong adhesive part underneath which I didn't but didn't have a choice! |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:high pitch noisebig
Pros:powerfulhigh qualitylow noise Comment:
very powerful i have 3 water blocks a dual 120mm rad, a reservoir, and it still has incredible flow. it gives off a high pitched 'squeal' similar to a hard drive, i can hear it although most cant. it is the loudest component in my case except for my power supply but only when the fan ramps up (ultra X-finity 600w with a thermaltake 80mm fan), so my 250gb seagate barracuda 7200.10 that sits on a sponge is quieter than this pump. the squeal is less intense when the speed is lower |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:size (not much of a problem for big cases)in/out placements (see above^)
Pros:strong pumpQUIET! Comment:
Amazing pump so far , once it is fully primed it is dead silent (when mounted properly). Speed control is nice to have but not a big NEED at full its still dead quiet so why run it lower... this pump also has killer strength put a hand on the tubes and you can feel the flow , no need for a flow meter geting in the way or slowing things down.Minor issues:little bit bigger then some other pump choices (3xx series) , so somewhat hard to find a great place for if your going to use a mid-tower , but for fulls it should be any issue. Also the in/out-let placements could be more synchronous to help the placement issues. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:- Would be nice to have input and output on the same side
Pros:- Pretty powerful- Silent Comment:
Very nice pump with power control to adjust the flow/noise ratio. Very satisfied even if it's not that easy to fit in the case because the output is a the top while the input is on the side. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:Larger than other pumps
Pros:Pump lots of water, quiet, able to control flow with the build in speed controller Comment:
One of the best, most reliable pump avaiable on the market. Pump lots of water, with no noise.I use it to cool my main system. The same pump that comes with the Swiftech Apex watercooling kit. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:The speed setting is located in the worst place as it literarily is at bottom of the pump where most people will have it sitting on the pad, plastic barbs
Pros:Powerfull, efficient (custom tops barely improve performance), quiet Comment:
I wanted this pump over the 350/355 as these have better reliability and a smaller heat dump. They're a bit larger but nothing excessive that can't be fitted in most cases. Would be nice if the top allowed for custom barbs though. Overall, very happy. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:- size- somewhat expensive (but worth every $)- vario speed knob comes loose easily
Pros:- absolute work-horse- nice large barbs for solid seal with 1/2 ID tubing- long power cord- variable speed Comment:
This pump is a tank. It's currently running 3 radiators and 2 water-blocks in my loop, no problem. The price is worth it IMO though some may say it's too expensive. This is a quality pump and very powerful. It is quite large but I have a huge case and its black to its wasn't too hard to hide. The adjuster-knob issue is easy to fix, pop the cap on the back of the pump off with a penny and you can re-attach the red extender piece to the white socket on the little board... takes 3 minutes. Anyway this pump is awesome... I usually end up spending too much money on watercooling gear because I want the best for my system. The next loop I build will be pushed by this pump for sure... |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:Price could be lower, but that's about it.
Pros:Fair price. Fairly quiet. Great versatility thanks to it being adjustable. Comment:
Its still pumping great, and working like a charm. it does have a bit of a hum at higher speeds but if you run your computer 24/7 you wont notice. its a great backbone for water cooling. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:Sizecannot change barbs
Pros:Low noiseLow vibration Comment:
This is an excellent pump. Before purchasing it I was worried it would be too loud, but if you mount it properly this pump makes virtually no noise. Unfortunately there is no way you can change the fittings on this pump, so you are stuck with plastic. This hasn't really been an issue for me however. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:-"Perfect Seal" type plastic barbs make it very difficult to put 7/16" ID tubing on.-Larger than some other pumps, so make sure you have room
Pros:-Powerful-Quiet -Adjustable speed-Mounting hardware and sticky vibration isolation pad included Comment:
Great pump, feels very solid and provides great flow rates. I would strongly recommend using the included anti vibration pad when mounting this to ensure minimal noise. |

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Cons:Plastic barbsNo RPM monitor as is found on it's smaller counterpart the MCP355I had to repair the dial on the potentiometer because it was not secured and just spun freely. The prong that is supposed to be stuck in the pot with some sort of gray substance was mashed up a bit and had come out. After scraping off the gunk and straightening the prong, I applied so loctite and re-aligned the dial and everything worked out fine in the end. At least it was easy to fix, but this may put off others who may not know how to fix a problem like this.
Pros:Great, powerful pumpRelatively silent operation, with the ability to adjust noise level at the cost of performanceGreat seal on the barbs Comment:
Over all a great pump, can't complain too much about it when it outperforms the MCP355 (which I also have) for around the same price point. Watch for shoddy dials on the potentiometer, though. Other than that, highly recommended! |
Ive got this for a while now , im happy with it, i dint encounter any problem to far great pump very recommanded to any one !
