So far, 1st five dvd burns absolutely great, applied dvd information pro to scan for errors and jitter, all showed excellent, plays back in all players in my residence. will do an update once i go by way of 100 of em that will give me a significantly superior evaluation, so far all ideal and the guy that mentioned they were hard to write on a sharpie black functions just fine, me i print covers so no biggie either way but utilized a sharpie just to see how nicely the top surface marked. Also lower case is actually threaded so best screws down to bottom, no opportunity of the old missed the clips 100 cd pickup. none I wish they had basically glued the upper half of the cover to the plastic once removed the cake boxes appear identical i have to don\'t forget to preserve the dvds in the front so i dont have to figure out which is which. TDK is number 1 in DVD's, CD's, or tape for backup data or music. I have burned thousands of hours on each of these formats and Never had a dilemma. (I began utilizing TDK on tapes in the ྂs, CD's in the 90's, & DVD's in this century) I have tried shop brands (to save a few dollars) and have lost my backup data. The couple of cents per DVD saved over a shop brand or any other brand is not worth losing any data over. This TDK DVD+R item model "DVD+R47FCC100" (manufacturer is Ritek; F16 is the true model) has been incredibly trustworthy/consistent. extremely low burn failure rate, probably much less than 1 for each 100. Most failures for me resulted in software program or hardware difficulties or i'd accidentally kick/bump my case causing the write to fail. I have been by means of more than well 1000 of these (old style grey colored and new cool looking blue colored ones) and rarely have a challenge with them getting read on friend's dvd players or computers. often order with free shipping so thats a pro! gave them 4 stars ONLY because i rarely get an actual burn speed of 16x. most burns are 4-8 minutes lengthy which is very good enough for me. can't complain since i mostly burn 2 or more at a time off one drive can't reasonably expect 16x with 4 burning at once. but nonetheless would like to consistently see that 16x when only burning 1 dvd wish the costs would stop going up already. i feel they've gone up at least 4 bucks in the last year or so perhaps much more.

Expense, Brand Name, Newegg Rocks! Horible compatibility. Unable to burn these discs at all with my Philips burner, will only burn 4X on my NEC. Have purchased at least 15 different brands of discs in my day and this is by far the WORST capability, ever. Went back to Verbaitim Discs, smooth sailing again! Bye-Bye TDK.

No coasters, works initial time every single time. They make terrible dinner plates. I often obtain whats on sale so most dvr's are the same to me. I incredibly rarely have issues with any of them but I do like the TDK brand. Also have good luck with Sony and Fuji.

never had a coaster. they function great! ive applied over 1500 of these. 鵬 of the new ones and 1200 of the old) they will not burn at 16x like the old discs, they burn at 12x. i cant even override these and force the 16x burn. superior price free of charge shipping most of the time.
