When you figure it out ... it works. Running Vista on a new pc, spent 3 hours following the package directions without good results. Could not get the WLAN to connect. Referred to as Trendnet Tech support and spent an additional 40 minutes after which they gave up and gave me an RMA to return the server. Turns out in wireless setup I required to enter my router encryption under WPA-PSK. The tech really should have identified this. Immediately after the WLAN led lastly came on and I then had to follow the directions to 'install' my printer. If you don't have a incredibly very good understanding of wireless routers and your OS ... This IS NOT plug and play. Tech support at the call in level was lacking. Possibly if you get to senior support level they would support.

It does function, the installation instructions werent bad. After installing the utility on the machine, you have to go back to the CD to run the PS Wizard. When you do that, it asks you to pick an operating method. When you do that it runs an application to locate the printer to install. If you dont see the printer on the list, your windows firewall may well be blocking the program. Go into the exceptions section of your firewall and browse the installation CD looking for the folder named after your operating system i.e. XP, Vista etc. When you come across it, open it and add that program to the exceptions listing. Challenge solved.

Absolutely nothing so far!!!! Everything. bought this since of recommendations from TRENDnet site. I spent over three days 8 hours + every single day to try to get this working. I have an XP desktop and a windows 7000 laptop and that's all. I lastly known as TRENDnet support and spent well over 2 +++ hours on the phone with a couple of support staff and they could not get it working. They suspect that the printer is not compatible with this server. HELLO .. where does it give a list of printers .. this as I stated was suggested by the internet staff??? Anyway they elevated the support call and said some one would be back within two days ... it is now 8 days and counting .. Where are you Elmo??? TrendNet customer service is really disappointing. I feel I may possibly bite the bullet and by way of this away and obtain something greater ... Please every person take notice of this evaluation .................
