twenty degree drop
Comment:
My graphics card was running hot, even with the card's factory installed fan. I installed this fan in the slot next to my graphics card and dropped my GPU temp 20 degrees.

Great Extra Fan
Comment:
It is extremely easy to install this fan and I have a temperature readout on my computer so I was able to determine that the extra fan cooled the inside about 3 degrees.

does the job
Comment:
This fan does the job .. not really lowering temps but when under extreme use like gaming ect ect it pumps that extra heat out to where your temps dont get higher .. its noisy sounds like a hair dryer is my only complaint.

Good product

This fan cooled down the avg. temp in my computer by 10 degrees. Very effective if you have a graphics card thats putting off lots of heat.

Good Price, bad quality

Shoddy craftsmanship, loud, but it does move air. Can't beat the price...

Cool looking and decent amount of air pushed
Comment:
Bought this thing two years ago (aug 07) and it sort of died on me just recently. hardly blows any air now (if i had to guess, about 2cfm?) but the lights still light up. i still have it in my rig because it looks nice but that's about it. doesn't blow as much air as i would like but it does get some air moving out of the case. decent buy for the price.

Good product for the Money!
Comment:
Installed one to keep my heatsinked video card running cool. The intake sets about a quarter inch below my video card so it pulls the heat off and pushes it out the rear of the case. I didn't expect no hair blower force air. This would not allow any heat transfer anyway. Overall for the money you can't beat it. Fast shipping and service!

Good Slot Fan
Comment:
Yes it moves air not that much air but it will slightly improve the movement of air out the back of your box. I have multiple Fans already providing adequate cooling to the system so the system running temperature was not reduced by the addition of this single fan nor did I think it would be but, the ambient temperature inside the box dropped by 2 degrees Celsius. Helping everything stay cooler during long durations of high load. Fan wasn't noisier than any mild hum unnoticeable to most. The Fan was cheap easy to install added peace of mind as well as functionality. No speed control feature.

it is blue...
Comment:
it lowered my temps a little, but not enough to make a huge difference. It still moves air out and away from the GPU and those can get extremely hot, so as long as it works im happy.

not buying any more of these!!!!!!
Comment:
i have a monster gaming computer decked out with everythingyou can think of, but i had an empty expansion slot so i bought this fan to light things up not to move air becuase i have 3 200mm fans in my case and liquid cooling through out my intire computer. so basicaly it looks cool but if you want it to be an efective cooling unit this is not the fan for you..

Buyer Beware
Comment:
At first I had no complaints, all was fine. I installed this below my secondary card- 7900GTO. Blue light looked cool, and it pushed a fair deal of air out the back of the case. Months later, my card started to get heat artifacts- I discovered that the fan was no longer spinning, and the back of the fan closest to the GPU was scorching hot to the touch. Instead of removing heat, it was adding to it. Nice concept, but if you don't regularily check to see if it is spinning, you are doing more harm than good. I will be replacing this fan with one that does not have a light

Imagine a 9800 GTX+ graphic card and a 700W power supply in a SMALL CASE (when I upgraded from 380W PSU and 7300 LE)... Well when I bought those 2 items (gfx card and psu) I didn't want the pc to overheat, even if it had a good cooling system, so bought 2 fans (that one and another with blue led) and my pc never gets over 60 celcius, even when playing fallout 3 with all texture mods or Crysis or anything.

Really nice case fan, minimal space taken, and helps in maintaining great airflow. The installation was also a "breeze". Can't beat this for the price!

Good Product
Comment:
Have had this fan for about a month now and it hasn't had any problems. I've had next to no airflow in my case aside from the power supply fan (which didn't seem to move a whole lot of air), and no case fans either, so I thought this would be a nice little fan to have. My computer hasn't really had any overheating problems or anything but since this will be the first summer since I added a graphics card I figured a little extra airflow couldn't hurt. It seems to move a good amount of air for its size (more than the PSU one) and does its job well. The metal screw-in part at the end seemed to be slightly crooked so it was just a little bit of a hassle to line up properly, but it did eventually. Card temps went down about 3 or 4 celsius, but it wasn't that hot to begin with. Overall, a good value if you need some airflow, but I suspect if your case is smoldering you'll need more than just this fan.

Comment:
Doesn't move as much air as I expected, however airflow was consistent and seemed to do the job. Noticed video card temps dropped and fps increased. Quiet as a mouse, couldn't even tell if it was running. Blue was a nice shade and looked good and produced a nice glow. Now to the cons, I would give this a solid 4 stars however it is not heat resistent. In about 1 maybe 2 months time the heat from the video cards warped the plastic and caused the fan blades to catch halting its rotation. Had to actually shave the blades so I could get it running till I could find a replacement. Then roughly 2 weeks later the fans warped some more and it started grinding loud as can be, buying a replacement today. Great product if you have a relitively cool system to begin with and defeats the purpose of even needing it.

Thermaltake A2426 Blue LED PCI Slot Case Cooler
Comment:
I've got a ''quiet'' case where all the air is exhausted through the power supply. There's nowhere else an exhaust fan could be mounted and the sides are double-walled, so adding a regular exhaust fan there would look very ugly. This fan is just what I needed. It's very quiet, moves a fair amount of air and my power supply is no longer so hot it scares me.

Over all this is a decent lil fan, pushed a fair amount of air, also has a bright Blue LED. Make sure you have enough room to install this fan if you have SLI'd cards. (dropped card temps by a degree or two).

This fan is great. I bought another fan from Tiger several years ago similar to this one but much louder. This fan moves a good bit of air for being small and is much quieter. The led is no big deal, just something to make sure it is working in my opinion.

It moves quite a bit of air for its size. I'm happy to use it to help vent the Hot air from my case. However, everyone else who posted here is very right. This thing just doesn't Mount properly. I'd have given up on the LED lights it has if Thermaltake would just make it line up properly.

I got this yesterday, first thing is the construction is cheap and the screw sucks balls (I had to use one of the spare screws I have), the hole doesn't even match up with the case, covers it half-way, but it just took a little bit of bending to get it to fit. I have this underneath a 8600GT that is overclocked, this fan is small so its not right umder the heatsink, but it gets some of the fan though. Pushes a considerable amount of air for it's size. This combined with a Vantec Spectrum PCI Fan Card on top of the graphcis card pulling the heat upwards to the exhuast fans, it cools it effectively from 65 degrees celcius to 56 degrees. Now time for even more overclocking ^_^
