This card just functions like its supposed to. I had an older Kodak 512 and this writes quicker in my camera than the Kodak did. No data loss however so I'm content. Nothing It was a seriously fantastic price

-Quickly write speed. Keeps suitable w/ my 40D.-Great size-lots of room for extended shooting session, but not so huge as to have "all your eggs in one basket".-Great cost None so far. This is my initial week w/ the cards. I have photographer good friends that have applied Transcend for years with no complications.Oh, as often, fantastic shipping and service from Newegg!

Transcend 2GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card
Comment:
Newegg's shipping got it here in two days. Decent sized card for the price tag Only worked for a single photo shoot session, possibly 50 photographs on it. Now it says Memory Card Error. Reformatting doesn't help. Performed at the very same speed as a 128mb compact flash card that I had from 2003. Did not offload any faster in my new printer, which otherwise utilizes speedy flash cards. General I'm rather unimpressed with it.

Transcend 2GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card
Comment:
Low-cost Operates in *most* everything I put it in. sadly it does not work for the one factor it was purchased for. a marrantz digital recorder (PMD-650) - purchased ten cards for the five recorders we have... none of them work. The unopened ones are going back. this card DOES perform in anything else I've put it in. but seems to me it really should operate in every thing. Wound up finding some Sandisk cards for three times the price tag :(

Transcend 2GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card
Comment:
Worked great in my camera straight out of the box. Happily maxed out my camera's memory capacity considering that it only supports FAT16. The package was straightforward to open with no the need for a knife or scissors. None yet. Comes formatted FAT16.

Transcend 2GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card
Comment:
I bought one of these about 8 months ago, and one of the leading competing brand. This card is almost twice as fast in my card reader as the other 1 that was the identical price. I really like it. 2GB is ideal size even for high-megapixel cameras so you aren't risking 4GB or a lot more of photographs if the card or file format fails. Soon after months of daily use, the plastic coating is peeling off the label. Doesn't influence the operation but makes me worry about how long just before I just wear this card out Ordering one more Transcend of the newer quicker 2 GB model for when I wear this one out. I use this card daily in my Olympus E-510 bought through Newegg as nicely.

Transcend 2GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card

Nice throughput. Works amazing in my PocketPC, Durable CF card drop it and my PDA virtually day-to-day, Burns Data @ advertized 133x. Sold out prior to i could order one more, and hey! they elevated the price by Ū but... who can blame the Egg! Gas prices... Like the Egg, CF cards transfer 16 bits unlike SD 4bits. Transcend is my new favorite memory organization from Kingston, Important, and Corsair. Why paymore for the exact same factor that ur gonna beat it up. Pay the added only if u dont program on ever getting one more one. Transfers data faster than SD cards, which includes alot of my 50x and 60x SDs and PNY CF cards. MY avg throughput has been about 10MB/s.

Transcend 2GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card
Comment:
Looks great. Cheap. Effortless to physically install Tried it with a Transcend 2GB CF in four distinct systems, and could not put an OS on it. Tried to load IPCOP (Linux) and DOS on it and failed. I did a write/read test, and the information came back corrupted. The Transcend card works fine in my CF reader. Cost is so low it not worth returning.

Transcend 2GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card
Comment:
This Transcend CompactFlash card has a significant number of points going for it. Its 2GB capacity is quite sufficient for a number of utilizes, which includes digital photography and use as a bootable device in a individual computer. Unlike quite a few other budget cards, this one supports Ultra DMA operation, which is a ought to-have with some older motherboards, chipsets and operating system combinations.A lifetime warranty is also included with the card, though it seems so well created and sturdy that couple of folks are likely to have issues with it. I only wish 1 of these had been offered when I built my initially FreeNAS system, as the computer I utilised to construct it necessary a card that had Ultra DMA support to function appropriately. Other than that, I have no complaints. This is an superb product. Even though this card's capacity is fairly small as compared to other CF cards, its reasonable price, ultra DMA support and sturdy develop high quality make it the excellent thing for those searching for a CF card to use as a "backup" in a digital photography setup or as a indicates of booting a computer into a unique-purpose operating technique.

glad they still sell these old standards
Comment:
It's so hard to find simple things like this nowdays. I remembered this retailer was an internet product warehouse so I just took a shot and sure enough, they had it. I'd tried to buy from a place that identified themselves as a media store. It was right in their name but then they didn't have a CF type I card, which I think is still very valid media in todays computing world.
