Price tag to efficiency is fantastic. This card holds up nicely with heavy camera usage. I am making use of it in my Nikon D5000 and my wife's Nikon D5000. It has worked wonderful with no loss of data. None. SDHC cards are often slower on computers when reading and writing. This is not Transcend's fault. This is a good card for the price tag. It is a Class 6 with 8GB. I always format it with every single usage in my camera so this keeps the file program fresh. It has worked properly and has not had any problems. For the numerous rates I certainly suggest this cardAs a different reviewer said:Acquire It.

Cheap, operates for shooting photos. Will intermittently stop shooting HD video on brand new Canon T2i. Only formatted in camera and by no means used in card reader. I actually wanted this card to function out becoming that it was an cheap class 6 card. I nonetheless use it for photographs but not video. Bought a Sandisk extreme SDHC class 6 and have no problems with HD video on Canon T2i.

Does what it demands to, functions nicely. The end cap which is what you would connect to a set of keys, necklace etc.. is not built nicely. It is not secured to the device, but rather "pops in" which also ends up "popping off" even immediately after barely any use. It still operates perfectly, but each and every time its pulled out of a machine I have to put the finish cap back on (which exposes the chip inside).

Operates, reads/writes rapid as far as I can tell. Put it in a sony xlr camera and it positively affected its capture rate none so far might/may not be compatible with specific cameras. My camera has a list of class 4 and lower cards that it supports and claims to support anything greater, but doesn't give specifics past class 4.

Reliable. I have purchased a dozen of these for my a number of cameras and those of my loved ones. Ive been utilizing them for years and in no way had any problems. They are cheap (price NOT high quality), rapidly and trustworthy. None Format the card in camera prior to first use - not necessary just suggested

Packaging was nice. I will be able to use it in my camera. This was intended as readyboost card for a reader I rarely use. It has to be read numerous instances when it is plugged in, because it lacks the speed essential. I may have gotten a bad one particular. I feel the market is ready for a usb flash memory "stick" that does not protrude. This would be handy for netbooks and laptops exactly where you don't want to have some thing sticking out of the side.

Rapidly Read/Write speeds, Plenty of storage space at 8GB capacity, great create top quality none so far I've gone although so a lot of other brand cards and have had them fail or fall apart. So far, this a single is going so considerably superior...but it's only been a week! I get about 20Mb/Second speed transfer with my Kingston FCR-HS219 reader and my Canon Vixia HF-S100 has no concerns with reading to it at full bit-rate settings. The excellent appears good so far and the speed is more than adequate for me. For the value, you CAN'T BEAT IT! I Very suggest this card to anybody in the market place.

Good space, great speed. Functions fine. Value point affordable. No plastic storage case with this one particular. Only bubble pack. Forgot to format it and began taking images in a Nikon D90. No matters. Then formatted card but that only designed a new folder but did not erase the older images. Something in the Camera formatting in all probability.

Transcend 8GB SDHC - Class 6, 11MB/Sec
Comment:
This card is good if you're looking for 1 quick sufficient for HD Video and/or high high quality stills. I bought it to go along with a Kodak PlaySport 1080P HD video camera, and it hasn't disappointed us however. The camera calls for at least a Class 4 card, but recommends going more rapidly. I did a bit of investigation, and a Class ten is overkill, even for filming HD high quality, quickly motion video. I figured this card was cheap adequate for a test run, and if it wasn't quickly sufficient, I could use it in my Canon DSLR instead. Nicely, I can certainly tell you, Class 6 seems to be much more than sufficient to manage anything we've thrown at it. The mechanical write protection switch is well produced, as opposed to cards I've had in the past. And as far as the Error Correcting Code is concerned, it need to be operating nicely, due to the fact I haven't encountered any errors to date. It didn't come with a fresh copy of Right after Effects to help edit the footage. I was hoping it did, and I figured I had a 50-50 shot that it would. But, no luck. If you're seeking for a card for any of the small form aspect digital "Pocket" camcorders (PlaySport, Flip, Panasonic Pocket, etc.) this 1 functions good!PS - The PlaySport is a considerably much better deal than any of the Flips available. Not only is it less costly, but it can shoot in full 1080P HD, whereas most of the other ones readily available, which includes the Flips, only shoot up to 720P.

Purchased this for my (then) new Canon Powershot SX20 IS. It functions great. The write and read speeds perform fine with the default 12 megapixel settings. Went on a couple brief trips and took about 500 pics each time. They barely created a dent in the storage! None I was initially contemplating buying 2 of these, but there was seriously was no need to have for it. Unless I was going on an extended holiday and preparing to take thousands of images, this has plenty of room.

It functions. It appears a bit slow - but due to the fact EOS Rebel has a burst mode that utilizes internal cache memory, it's tough to tell. This is my 5th Transcend SD card. All of them worked perfectly except for 1 that failed intermittently in cold weather (which Newegg generously replaced - it was a week immediately after the warranty expired at the time)

Records quick in my camera, transfers fast to the laptop or computer, and is affordable. On my old HP from 2006 it doesn't perform. It freezes the pre-installed card multi-card reader and I have to restart it. Should be due to the fact the card reader can't read newer SDHC cards. Sent this baby up into the stratosphere in a camera and recorded three hours of video. Still operates!
