Transcend Jetflash V30 4GB USB2.0 Flash Drive Black

Bought two to store lesson plans and teaching materials for work. Works great although plastic shell and cap seem fragile. It works wells and 4GB is nice buy for the price. Highly Recommend this flash drive.

I got my 4GB USB Flash Drive a little over a week ago and it loaded right up and also was easy to use with out any problems. I think it is a good bargain for the price.

The Jetflash Elite software available for download from www.transcendusa.com has excellent backup and security features. The drive itself is as fast as my other 4gb USB drive. I copied 3.5gb to it in around 30 minutes, and that is average for non-highspeed USB drives. I purchased 2 of these last week and they have performed flawlessly. There is one thing though, under DETAILED FEATURES on this page, it says ''Boot-Up Function: Makes JetFlash V30 a bootable device''. This is incorrect. I went to www.transcendusa.com and looked in the FAQ section for this USB drive and it states: ''JetFlash is not supported to be a bootable device. The main function of JetFlash series is emphasized on the function of being a portable storage device. Therefore, it is basically not supported to be a bootable device.''

pretty slow drive, but for $15 can't beat the price! Can take 15 seconds to transfer 30 MB

I got this last week when it was only $15.99. 4GB for $16 is a bargain, but there are some things that are lame. The removable cap is the first thing. I expect to have lost it by next week sometime. Second, it is slow compared to a different stick I have. But its huge and thats good. I would recommend this to anyone looking to carry around a lot of stuff.
