Transcend TS16GSDHC10 SDHC Card - 16GB, Class 10
Comment:
high capacity and high speed (speed was not benchmarked). the card is not recognized by Win XP Pro and Win 7 starter (both on laptops). I had to use another computer with Vista ultimate or card reader that "sees" this card. As far as the create speed is concerned, it took 2 1ǘ seconds to write RAW-F image (that's raw + jpeg) to the sd card. Each files were 15Mb.

Transcend TS16GSDHC10 SDHC Card - 16GB, Class 10
Comment:
Low-cost, largely quick and functions in several of my Canon cameras. Does continuous shot effectively on DSLR Canon T2i. I do not suggest making use of this on a Canon T2i for video recording. There's an overheating issue so the recording stops randomly with an error. I even tried the low level re-formatting several occasions and still encounter the random stop situation. I have performed lots of investigation and there are mixed outcomes, but I can tell you a Sandisk 8GB ultra performs incredibly properly without stopping.

large capacity, inexpensive, reasonably rapid slower than the transcend 8gb class 6 (TS8GSDHC6), i have owned the transcend 8gb class 6 for over a year and like it. this card should outperform it in my Nikon D90. but the 8gb class 6 outperforms it possibly i must of purchased the 16gb class 6?

I got this for my recently purchased Canon T2i.Was debating this one particular or the sandisk intense. However I am not the wealthiest guy about. So at a 1Ǚ the price it was a no brainer for me.The reviews are relatively good. I did a speed test and got:Writing speed: 15.four MByte/sReading speed: 19.four MByte/sH2testw v1.4 It's closer to a Sandisk extreme class 6 in speed. Require to buy one much more as a back-up!

Newegg has a good value on the Class ten, go for it!Card was low level formatted in a Canon SX30 IS. No troubles. Video and photos save incredibly promptly. Best worth for a class ten card. Lots of capacity! Comes in clear display rack packaging. Would have preferred a reusable clam shell wallet.

nicely recognized brand20MB/s read, 16MB/s write according to spec. printed on packagelifetime warranty (printed on package)affordable compared to other reputable brand none so far I purchased this for Canon EOS Rebel T2i, which is capable of recording total HD video. Not only is this card capable of handling full HD video recording, but also can accept nonetheless shot with RAW+L without terminating video recording. Continuous shooting throughout full HD recording will cease video recording even though. Be remembered to low level format this card with whatever device you use as many suggest to make positive it is optimized for that device.

This my third 16g Transcend SD card. Utilised in a dslr camera and with a usb stick drive. Newegg delivered on time and in superb condition none As the costs come down on 16g cards it is less complicated to discover the cash to have numerous on hand. Paid much less for this card than for a 8g card final summer.

16gb, price tag, class10 Worked good with T2i at first, now not so great. Lately I had 2.5gb of pics and vids on the card the write speed lowered and was not able to preserve up with 1080i 30fps vid writing. removed pics and vids and reformated the card. Seems ok for now. we will see...Assume I'll go with Sandisk Extreme class six subsequent. A buddy has 1 in his T2i and has not had any difficulties.

This is my second buy of this exact same card. No complications more than a year. Photos, HD video, no problem. Overall just works and is a steal for the value. None Would be good if it came with a plastic case for the memory, but that isn't a large deal...

Fast write speed (around 16MB/s). Straightforward to open packaging. Excellent price per GB. None that I can find. Wish it had included a case, but I had extras lying around, and it will be in the camera all the time anyway. This is the 2nd Transcend SD card that I personal, and both have performed flawlessly. They appear to be a excellent flash memory organization. Purchased this a single for use in my new Sony SLT-A33.The egg saver shipping got it here in three days, but DHL still shows it hasn't even left the warehouse, and it has been five days.

Incredibly rapidly.Economical.16 GB suggests plenty of space for photos and videos. none. I am quite content with this card. It's really quick if I plug it straight into my laptop or computer's media port. It was slow when I was transferring my pictures straight from the camera. My camera has no issue recording nice crisp 720P HD motion pictures. I saw no lag in audio or video and the movie clip was really smooth.

* Can record 1080p video to this memory with my Canon T2i just fine * Absolutely nothing so far * 16 Gb won't be sufficient for a 1080p Video because it can take only 48 min. Will need to obtain one more as a backup for extra Video.

Comment:
Price was suitable, BUT..... I get a LOT of errors in the application exactly where I'm employing them. I purchased these to use in a Sony PMW-EX1 HD video camera. I've been working with Transcend 16gb cards for years with only a single failure and shooting a LOT of video. I have a couple of thousand hours on the camera. For reasons unknown these 'faster' cards preserve getting errors. I thought it was the SDHC adapters but the manufacturer assures me they've been tested and employed and really should work in their adapter. Guess I'll stick with the class 6 cards and try these in a Panasonic HDC-TM700k to see how they do there.

This was a great obtain from New Egg for me! I noticed a large difference in recording time on my wife's digi cam! She is considerably happier now she doesn't miss (as many) images!! ;) none went from a slow class four (possibly lower due to the fact the old card was extremely slow) to this class ten and there is a signifigant** improve in record speed. Old card "could" have been defective it was so slow
