Cards function effectively in SD mode (cameras, and other consumer electronic devices). Cards do not adhere to the SDHC spec when it comes to operating them in SPI mode. We've ordered Transcend cards in the past that worked just fine, but this certain batch of 9 cards did not function correctly. Block writes did not start out at the address specified. Look elsewhere if you're making use of these cards in SPI mode as storage for say, a PIC microcontroller. These cards will in all probability function just fine for the typical consumer.
