Good Product
Comment:
Installation was a breeze. I wrote down the customer settings I had from my old router (dns, passthrough ports, etc) and adding them to the new router was easy. VPN, port redirection, etc works great. The whole house has excellent speed without drop off. I also like the WPK2-PSK security. Very easy to set up. The only downside was setting up the static IP I needed. It has an option for a static IP, but it is a little different and the manual says it is different, but does not give a clue on how to set up a static IP. With a little work I got the NAS to connect internally and now my webserver is up and running too.

Piece of Cake
Comment:
This arrived durng lunch two days after I ordered it. By 130 PM my desktop was hooked up through DSL and I was registering the product and my laptop was hooked through the wireless setup to the net. Piece of cake. Make sure you know what your wireless adapter is capable of with security encryption before setup.

Works Great
Comment:
Started with a G wireless router worked good and connected at 54mps consistently being at the opposite end of a large house, until several months ago. I noticed a lot of new SSIDs being picked up around my house started dropping internet connection. After buying a new laptop with wireless N. I decided to upgrade my router, I purchased a dual band wireless N router. The new router would constantly drop out, after reading all of their literature I changed settings to N band only and max speed of 130mps, worked better but in the evening between 6pm and 10 pm would drop the connection. Got fed up and bought the TEW-639GR set up was easy and worked right out of the gate. I connect on my lap top about 75 feet away through 3 walls at 140mps and my wife with an older Dell and an USB N adapter at 160mps. Half the price twice the speed and distance, good choice.

Very Good Router
Comment:
I have had a few different routers mostly linksys products but with all the negative reviews for alot of the newer linksys products i decided to give this trendnet one a try. This router is very fast and has incredible range. Setup is extremely easy took me 10 minutes to get up and running with my settings. I have 3 pc's a nintendo wii and a ps3 all hooked into this either wirelessly or wired and it has not slowed down at all. I am very very pleased with trendnet.

Awesome Router!!
Comment:
Trendnet is an awesome company with the best tech support I have ever used! Router is awesome out of the box, easy to setup super fast and streams HD perfectly. I bought it so Xbox and Netflix would stream in HD. My last 2 routers both couldnt handle the packet size. linksys wireless N and a Netgear. We have 4 laptops, xbox, wii, sirius sat, ipod touch, and directv recievers, all using this router. It NEVER slows down! Thanks Trendnet!!

Good router
Comment:
I am not using the wireless feature right now. I bought it for the Gigabit lan feature. It was just plug all wires in and go, to use it for lan.It does not look hard to set up for a wireless network.

Best I've ever owned
Comment:
This is the best router I've ever owned. If you are a tech guy the router setting are easily changed for you. If not, you may need some help. But either way I am very happy. Paired with a TrendNet N Switch and it all screams.

Good Product, Good Deal
Comment:
This is my first wireless router. Setup was easy enough, but I made it complicated by using a 64 character WPA-2 key. That's the only reason I had any trouble with it. It is worth noting that using some of the older encryption types will make this router function only in G/B mode. For $90, it is a pretty good value, but I found one with a network hard drive at a retailer for about the same price. Even with buyer's remorse, I am satisfied with the Trendnet wireless n router. May not be the best router for a serious lan party gamer, but for general use, go for it.

Trendnet TEW-639GR 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Router
Comment:
From the star rating you wouldnt know I'm not actually very satisfied with this router. The LynkSis B-G it replaced was about 3 years old but basically worked just as well. With all the range enhancing and speed touted, none of them will work if you have a single ''g'' unit in your network, or if using WEP type security.
