Those are great dvd,I was able to burn at 12X on a samsung dvd drive. Great except they don't have any lines to write titles. I recommend to get those in sale for about 19$ it is a great deal, ideal for burning home dvd. Would buy again when I will have burned my 2 bundles.

Great dvds that do their job, but they come with no case, top dvd was also cracked an not usable. Also the surface of them could be easier to label and write on.

Hey it was 19.99, took a chance Im happy so far.I have only used 6X on my imac, Haven't' tried any faster. Im in no rush!Perfect Results and as mentioned it worked on one of my DVD players that only likes NEWER commercial DVD's

I really hate disks with absolutely no label... but, for the price I paid for these I was willing to look the other way. So far they have burned flawlessly.

Actually my second time buying these. They worked great with my previous drive, and with my LG GSA-H62L (stock BIOS). They may be only 8x, but getting 100 for 19.99 and not having to pay PST makes it a sweet deal to add to the cart. If you can't get any better deals locally, I'd recommend these in a heartbeat, especially if they're on sale.

This is excellent media and at $20 per 100 pack, a great deal.I got all TYG02 8x and they burn perfectly at 8x. They even burn up 16x. Highly recommend these to anyone, especially at the sale price.

When on sale for $20 its a good price for these. I've ordered 3 or 4 spindles of these and each time I've been lucky and gotten TY02s which burn at 8x rated and burn beautifully.Just as a bit of added info I did scan a bunch of burns from my first 100 shrink wrap pack recently, and they're all still in the 97-98% quality range (very low PIFs below 200 in total) over 4 years later. Oddly though, my Optodisc budget discs still scan very high as well haha.

The last 3 times I've bought blank DVD's I've gone with these and I don't recall ever having one bad burn. One side note I almost always burn at 4x or 2x. Nero gives me the option for 16x/12x/8x/6x/4x/2x with these.I personally prefer the clear shiny surface for writing on with a black sharpy.Not to say I wouldn't try another brand sometime down the road... but if it ain't broke then don't fix it. Bought one from a local store on sale. They're well worth it when you find them on sale. I've used most of them for data, and at normal speeds (6X) haven't had any problems. They do tend to get dirty rather quickly and aren't the most durable, but at less than $20, that doesn't matter. I'm just saying, I wouldn't use any of those for a DVD I plan on keeping for a while.

I was able to get these for 20 bucks on one of NCIX's many sales, really solid performing discs, can't complain about them right now.

You can not beat this price for Yuden DVDs. OK, so they are on the lower end of their quality spectrum but the absolute best compared to those in this same price class. When on sale ($19) I would totally suggest picking some up.

Pioneer-dvr111 can burn these at 12x, but I was getting erros and had to throttle it back to 8x. The sale price was great for 100pack, I would recommend them. My cheap knockoff dvdplayer doesn't mind them, nor do any of my LG or pioneer drives.

I've been using the Tru Blu for a long time and have never been disappointed. Only a handful of coasters in several hundred discs. I like the shiny top surface with no branding or other markings; never did like other companies that brand their discs to the point of not having any room to write.

Good disc for the price. I got them to burn to 16x fine with my Pioneer 212. No coasters or problems so far.

I've always been a fan of Taiyo Yuden ever since the begining. The cheap shrink wrap makes the disks look cheap and low quality. The fact of the matter is they have been around for a long time. Possibly they went cheap with mass production, but I haven't noticed any changes in quality.Thanks for listening, if this review has helped you, please send me some positive feedback.

the media isn't of the best. but then again it isn't that hight in price. I would say it is a medium level disk.

Although some had issues with these at 28 cents each its still a great value, so far I haven't encountered any issues.

Sure these are Taiyo Yuden's value line but for 27 cents a disk you still get one of the best blank media there is. Taiyo Yuden is among the best when it comes to blank media, starting out or experianced user....deff reccomend these or other Taiyo Yuden's. 27cents a disk beats any retail store.

I've burnt close to 2000 DVD's this year (god bless zip) and had 1 stack of these. One of my DVD players is old school, she's my tester. She despises anything burnt at more then 2x, but to my surprise, she liked these TY 3's. They are very pretty out of the box, that's for sure. But they pick up finger prints something fierce. As well, I have kids that can be pretty tough with media and I have noticed that the Tru Blue's are a little more prone to scratching. One even split complete down the middle, dye from disk when dropped perpendicular to the ground. All in all a descent buy, but I'd check out the media section of cdfreaks.com before buying these guys. They know a lot more about media then I do, and they seem not to favour these bad boys, so I haven't bought since.

Been using these for a while. When they're on sale they're a great deal, and I've never had a coaster caused by this media. Highly recommended. My PS2 also seems to like them.

These discs are beautiful for any application. I burn mostly data, and I have yet to run into an issue. No coasters at all, disc is always readable. These can be burned at 16x for those of you who like burn fast. I tend to burn at 8x, however alcohol provides 16x as an option. As you can see by the customer reviews these are a good disc to buy...Thanks Taiyo Yuden, you stole my business, I used to burn Ritek.
