-Non-conductive-Superior efficiency and less expensive than Arctic Silver five -Suggested application takes additional than 30 seconds...? I utilized this in conjunction with a Corsair H50 Liquid cooler for my i7 920. Soon after spending about a month with AS five, I switched to this stuff and it dropped my idle and load temps 5-7ºC! This stuff actually is greater thermal paste.I applied a extremely thin layer to the heatsink/pump unit per the advised instructions with an index card. It wasn't a hassle, but I certain liked the simplicity of squeezing a thin line of AS 5 across the CPU. Either way, with the efficiency improvement of this stuff, I can't really complain!

Combined with a Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler (and an i7 920 overclocked to 4.0GHz), this compound does precisely what it's supposed to do. It transfers the heat like it's supposed to. None. None.

Does a good job of keeping my components cooled. I apply it to nearly everything that I can. I have it on my GPU (its passively cooled, and stays cool with this compound even under load), and I've applied it to both my Northbridge, and Southbridge. They've stayed a full 10C cooler. I dont have it applied to my CPU presently, as I'm comparing it against some Zalman thermal compound. I'm positive this one will be much better. Can't think of one. Seriously, get it. Theres even a benchmark that shows its much better than AS-five, and Arctic MX-two. A couple of degrees cooler, and a couple of dollars less.

This is surely 1 of the finest thermal compounds I've employed. I was utilizing a Cooler Master Hyper 212 and the stock thermal compound had my temperatures at a 45-50C idle and loading at nearly 70C. That really was dissappointing. With that stated:- Got my temperatures at 25-30C idle and Never ever above 50C load on my Phenom II 940. That was really impressive and provided more headroom to overclock. None at all. The strategy I used for my AMD Phenom II 940 was the "dallop" or 1 pea size application on the middle of the CPU. This worked properly for me, and I'm just stating for others to try out if temperatures aren't operating for other application approaches of the this thermal compound.I have utilized Arctic Silver 5 in the past, but the cost is now extremely unattractive, and the price and performance of Tuniz TX-two is the identical, or if not even superior than the Arctic Silver five. There are critiques this reinforce this.

It's straightforward to use; I just put a dot in the center of every processor (like other people have said, a rice-grain-sized quantity for an average-sized processor), put the heatsink on, and it worked like a charm. No mess, no fuss. Applied it in fixing an Xbox 360 with RROD. There was adequate in the tube to do a minimum of 4 to 5 average-sized applications. Consistency was a little uneven but it didn't cause me any complications. As with almost everything that's sealed at high altitude, be cautious opening it! I took the cap off for the first time and the paste began gushing out. I can't say in detail how nicely it does in terms of temperature because I've only applied it in fixing an xbox 360, but the 360 works like a champ now so I'm pleased.

Non conductiveCheap The consistency was just not very good with my Xigmatek Dark Knight. Other thermal compounds seem to spread more very easily with greater coverage. With this, the paste would tend to scrape/ball up and develop pockets of air leading to greater temps. It was literally like attempting to put playdough onto my CPU, just doesn't function. I applied up an entire tube attempting to make this stuff cooperate working with every single strategy doable (Plastic bag, latex gloves, credit card, etc.) Going back to AS five.

Had this TIM for about two months, wonderful, when applied instant lowering of temps, on load it went down 5c, and on idle it went down 2c, extremely excellent buy, i would advocate this to any individual,i even put it on my gpu, and it went down 1c, which is still fine.Yo can most likely have 10+ cpu applications, and about 15+ gpu applications. None. I would buy this over anyother tim.BTW: this is from stock tim to tx-two, tim.

Works wonderful. Initially applied some white paste from radioS (was developed for cpu) and peak temperature on my core i7 920 was as high as 85C (with arctic cooler freezer pro rev two heat sink). Then I took out the sink and applied this paste and peak temp. dropped to 70C and idle to 43C. N/A May be expense? บ for paste appears little high. Wish I had Fry near where I live.

Very powerful for heat transfer, not electrically conductive, non-corrosive, cheap, and it is incredibly simple to apply. It isn't the ş performer on the market (although it is close) but it is quickly the very best performance per dollar. Noctua NH-T1 is more efficient. This is what I have bought for the last dozen or so builds I have done, and unless something revolutionary comes out or costs begin changing I'll be continuing to get it.

Worth the expense to the volume, and i wasn't expecting this a lot. Not genuinely so considerably a con, but it does have a minor "burn in" period, exactly where my temps didn't appear to have a reduce till following i left it to roast overnight. I originally use this low cost knockoff silver based compound(Not AS 5, one thing unique) and located it.. inadequate.. against the heat of a totally loaded prescott Ɠ.0e). There had been times it would peak out at 150 or far more.employing this compound, brought the temps down from idle/load: 120렮 to 102렕 on typical.the prior thermal paste, immediately after 3 months of use, had parts that seemed like it was more inclined to be an oil rather than a paste. wasn't like that when i put it on. Thankfully, that paste ISN'T sold here.

Uncomplicated to clean off. Don't be concerned about electrical shorts with it. Not almost as great long term as Aŭ for lowering temps. Tube is monster for the amount the comes in the tube? I have four laptops with t7500 cpus. I have tried the OEM paste, this stuff and Aŭ. Even though OEM is the worst long term, this stuff wasn't a lot much better. I kept fans and sinks clean and clear, but after months of getting this stuff on temp kept creeping up. I lastly pulled of the heat sink and applied Aŭ like on one of the other laptops and had a 20F drop in temp (this is soon after the laptop has run for hours, so it was not just due to the fact the heatsink was cool). I have read all the reviews from this and quite a few other web sites. Many people are giving this compound wonderful reviews so I wanted to truly try it. I had tried brand on 2 desktops and four laptops, but I have been disappointed each and every time and gone back to making use of Aŭ. You may well have more luck, but don't get your hopes up due to the fact someone else says like actually like this compound.

I don't see significantly of a distinction among Arctic Silver 5 and this, and even though I'm positive soon after curing times the Arctic Silver five may well prove to be a winner, the distinction is marginal. Doesn't conduct electricity.Straightforward to spread if you're a plastic-finger individual. None? Using it on my Mugen II. Gorgeous.
