Got this to replace my old charger that the kids destroyed by putting in alkalines. Love the features this on has like identifying non-rechargeables and spent rechargeables. Also like the indicator so everyone knows which ones a re full charge. Awsome Product!!!!

Does an excellent job. Like display and discharge feature as I found I had some bad batteries that needed to be disposed of. Other charger just showed that they were charged.

It works just as described. Runs quite warm, so just don't run it on a box of tissue paper. The site shipped it so fast, it was like the warehouse is just down the street from my house! Another great buy.

This charger is excellent! Of several different brands that I have used over the years, this one beats them all. Sadly, my wife put non-rechargeable Alkaline batteries into it, and they leaked and ruined the charger. Make sure your family members realize this!! When I bought this unit (less than 1 year ago), I got it on sale for $15. I have watched for several months now, and the price has NOT dropped below $30. It sucks to pay double the price, but like I said above... it IS the best charger I have ever used.

It charges rather quickly. It seems well built and I like the auto shut-off. I don't have to watch it or worry about overcharging batteries.

I received my charger 2 wks ago and I am very impressed with this product.It does everything as advertised. This is definitely the best battery charger I have had. The store, as usual delivered a quality product with fast shipping. I can not praise them enough. I have never purchased anything from them that I was not treated like a special customer, and I have bought many different products.

What can I say. This discharges if needed rechargeable batteries and then charges them back up. LED readout is great. Overall this is an awesome product for maintaining NiCad AA & AAA batteries. Make sure you keep adequate ventilation around the charger when in use.

I bought this battery charger becuase I've not had good luck with others. This one is the best I've ever owned. I really like being able to see the cnarging status on the LCD screen. I no longer put partially charged batteries into my digital camera. A great buy and a reasonable price.

Best charger I've used to date. Used Raovac, Panasonic, Duracell, Energizer, and a couple off brand charges. The Duracel was the clear winner till I started using ''this Ultra'' unit. Prior reviews point out all it's advantages over most chargers. The best features IMO are it's discharge function, it's ability to charge a ''mix'' and odd number of AA & AAA at the same time, and it's 8 LED readouts when charging or discharging. Great to find out which NiMh's might be bad/toast. Some charges will just try and charge these anyway and can burst, not to mention they just suck the juice from your other battery/s when in use with good one/s. Most worthy of it's slighty higher price tag for sure.

Well the batteries Suck..1 of 4 would take a charge.The charger is great.I have never had a crapier battery(ultra)these are the lowest qualitey battery ever made.I have Duracell,Sanyo,Sayo etc,Ultra are the first Ihave encountered dead on arrival..All my rechargables are 1600mil amps or better...

Purchased this charger for my Kodak Z1012 digital camera which tends to drain batteries quickly. The battery cycling feature and 8 battery capacity makes this charger a winner and would reccomend!

The Ultra batteries that came with my charger do not hold charge. I did not know if it was the charger or the batteries so I purchased Duracell NiMH batteries and they charge just fine. The AC Adapter also makes a buzzing sound if there are no batteries in the charger.

This is a great charger. I love the lcd display that shows the battery information. Haven't had a problem with an Ultra product yet. Arrived in a couple days, TD ships fast!

Best charger I have had up to date. I had batteries that were ''charging'' in my old charger, but they would not register, found out they were not really ''charging'', but killing the power from the others when they were put into any electronics. Now with this I was able to restore the working ones and not have to deal with the dead ones. This is another great product from Ultra.

I bought the small charger for my daughter for Christmas and was so impressed that I splurged for this one for myself in mid-January. It is truly worth it! I charged & used a AA in my toothbrush right away and the same battery is still going strong 3 months later -- when it was first charged it was so strong that I knew I had never had a fully charged AA before. We use AAs in so many devices that this has paid for itself already. Invest in an extra pack or two of rechargeable batteries.

I would highly recommend this product. I now have restored all of my rechargable batteries with this unit. It worked as advertised even if I thought it was a little expensive.

I was hesitant to spend the extra money to upgrade to this charger. After using this charger for a month, I can say that it is worth every penny. Between the kids' toys, the digital camera, and the Wii controllers, I have 24 NiMH AAs in use every day. This charger keeps up with all of them. Since many toys seem to take 3 cells, it's nice that this charger can charge anywhere from 1-8 cells. There's no need to make pairs of cells to charge them!
