Same issue as above

I had the exact same issue as someone above... barebone kit came with a Sata HDD and DVDRW. The one SATA powersupply connector on the power supply was too short to reach both the HDD and DVD bay, and the board they provided with the barebone kit prevented me from using anything other then the top 2 DVD bays. First experience with this site's barebone kits that I wasn't completely satisfied with. |

I bought six of these to use when I was upgrading the motherboards in my computers a couple of months ago. They are all still performing well. I like the fact that the fan is a lot quieter that the ones in the power supplies I replaced. |

SATA connectors are too short. When used with supplied mid-tower case, connectors would not reach both drives, another 2 inches of wire please! Otherwise power supply is fine. |

Pretty useless

I got this PSU with a barebone kit ordered 2 weeks ago. There was only 2 sata connectors on it but since i did not plan to had anything to the kit I just thought it was ok. But i guess the guy who came up with the kit did not do his job and test out the kit. You have to buy extra brakets to put the hard drive below the DVD-Rom but if you want to had another DVD drive....well you are screwed. So my advice is don't bother buying this, go for at least 4 sata connectors and maybe buy it else where. |

This power supply will not let you down. It's quit and power to spare. About the only down part of this is that there is only two (2)Sata plugs,both of which is on the same line. I think they coul have added another line.Over all, this is a great power supply. |

Great PSU for price

I purchased this PSU to upgrade from my 300watt PSU. I wanted the extra juice for my new Visiontek Radeon HD 4550 512MB video card. The specs on the video card showed 300watts was the minimum allowed but I upgraded anywat to be safe. Works great going on 4 months now and my computer gets a lot of use. Great price for a great product. |
Nice quiet sturdy efficient unit. Only 2 sata plugs on short extensions. Fine for 2 hard drives close together. Not fine for dvd at top and hard drive at bottom. A cheap sata power adapter is required. No big deal.
