I had a shorted memory stick that blew two power supplies while I thought it was the processor or mother board. This power supply would just shut down then come right back while i figured out the problem. Good product for the right price.

My last two power supplies failed, and destroyed everything attached. I was wondering if it was possible to buy a high-quality supply any more. It appears than this supply has met the calling for a high-quality supply. My only issue is that it has 4 IDE power plugs and only 2 SATA power plugs - backwards for a modern PC build.

I upgraded my 300w power supply in my Antec case with this one. Amazing difference. This product runs cool and is very quiet compared to my old power supply.Even with the larger fan which I think is outstanding. Great product for the price.

I ordered this Power Supply last month for a new install. I could have gone with more power but at 450W. Its enough to run my asus board and Cpu plus the FX1700 Nvidia Quadro. I like the big 135mm built in fan. Althought the CPU also has a fan, it is nice to know the hot air will be sucked right out of the system through the PS. I have a total of 4 fans, so my system is running nice and cool. All connectors are very good and well built. Nice power supply for the money. No problems installing it. System running stable

Had to look at monitor and hdd led to even know this thing was on! Quality workmanship. Get hold of peripheral-to-sata power adapters if you have more than 2 sata devices.

This was my first purchase with the Ultra brand. Seems well built and good quaility. It could have used one more SETA power connector since most newer PC's seem to have more SETA vs the older ATA. I must say it is very quiete. If you looking for what appears to be a well built power supply that is super quite, you can't go wrong.

While this product is a great deal and the quality of the MFG seems well-built, in my particular installation, the PS exhaust fan was on top, (rather than underneath) and was up against the top of the case. Rather than return the product, I simply cut the top of my case off and it seems to work fine. Not for the do-it-yourselfer if you have to cut your PC case! On a good note - it does work well and as described for about two months of solid use.

Great product like the black covering on all the wires I own 3 ultra power supplys will not by any others. Regester for a lifetime warranty how great is that. My oldest one is over three years old still going strong.

well its way quieter than my last power supply and it seems to working great i had one of those junkers in it and was having lots of errors and weird stuff happening but after installing this they seem to be gone i didnt use this in a really new system though so i dont know how it would do with multiple core processors and pci express graphic cards here is my system kt600a mb 1.5 gb pc3200 3200 processor 40 gb ide drive and 750 gb sata drive ide dvd burner i have a s sata one on the way also i have an agp card and a card and a ieee1394 pci firewire card and a wireless networking card and 3 case fans this runs it all smoothly with no problems which is more than i can say for the psu that it replaced my only complaint is that i couldnt get the website to work to register my product for the life time warranty in a nutshell if you dont have quad core and high end graphics card buy it

As always, Ultra delivers great products! My only negative comment about this power supply was that the only two SATA connectors were on one cable with very little space in between them. I needed to swap drives around in the bays to get to a position where I could use both connectors. Other than that, it runs quietly and with plenty of power for a non-gaming machine.

The LSP450 is a great power supply. It has all the voltages and the current capacities required by a 2009 Desktop. However, it only has two SATA connectors so I needed adapters to complete the project. Not a big problem.

The price and value are excellent. Dollar for dollar can't want for more. Had to upgrade PS for video card...works as advertised and the fan is VERY quiet. Would recommend for mid level upgrade any day.
