Vantec Lapcool 3 Notebook Cooler Dual Fan 1500RPM 25DBA
Cons:No USB hub, no external power
Pros:Very quiet, unobtrusive. Comment:
This unit probably saved my laptop's life. In the past I've had to periodically take the laptop apart, and clean the fans and cooling system. Since I've started using LapCool, the internal fans are not working as much as before, and the laptop is a lot cooler. |

laptop fans suck air from below and push it out to the sides, where as this cooler sucks air from the top (which is laptops buttom) and pushs air out from the side, i don't know if this is the best placement. I would imagin having the fans push up towards the laptop would cool even better, to feed cool air into the laptop. However, it does cool the laptop pretty good. My favourite thing about this cooler is that it cools the laptop so much, it will almost make your laptop fan almost never needed, so the laptop fan won't turn on and off all the time. Only when you are doing cpu intense stuff, then the cpu fan will be needed.
