I've burned more than half my initial spindle working with my LiteOn burner and each and every single disc operates in my Pc and in my Panasonic blu-ray player. I've only burned movies and haven't had any difficulties yet. Only 2x speed. There are 4x and 6x discs out there now, but I'd rather stick with a brand name I can trust. Blu-ray is receiving less expensive but it's nonetheless a tad bit steep. It's the cost you spend for new technologies even though. On sale with no cost shipping, these discs can't be beat. Excellent cost, have had no complications burning or playing these discs. None that I'm aware of. I'm on my 3rd spindle and I haven't had any troubles so far. I'll second the comment from another reviewer with regards to Imgburn - I constantly burn to the challenging disk using Total Media Extreme, then use Imgburn to burn to a BD-R. I haven't had any of them fail to burn to disc that way. If there is a dilemma with the video, it will fail burning to hard disk.

With the new Clod Firmware update for the LITE-ON Black 12X Blu-ray Burner with Blu-ray 3D feature SATA Model iHBS112 - OEM. It works great. Reads in my ps3 and in my other Sony Blu Ray players I had issues when I initially purchased them because they had been not compatible with my burner but that is not Verbatim's Fault. Worked amazing. Burned my 1st back-up blu-ray on an older LG drive with no issues in about 45 mins. Disc played good on my Panasonic Bd-30 blu-ray player. Shows as 25 GB but apparently falls under the 'formatted drive law' that HDDs have. 23.three GB is all it would give me. Caught me by surprise when a 23.5 GB file was 'too large' for the destination disk. My old Samsung HDDVD/Blu-ray combo player wouldnt read this disk, but early Samsung players had poor file compatibility as well so I wasnt surprised. This disk is nonetheless too small for backing up the majority of my blu-ray library. Nonetheless good to have although.The disks could have a greater 'appearance" as nicely....but I'll take functionality more than looks for my electronics anyday.

Lets see... None? Compatible with my Burner but Not with any of my three players. Tech Support is worthless and barely speak English. I purchased these discs in March when the compatibility issues had been not so predominantly displayed. Fantastic price for Verbatim BD-R's.Pretty much 100% burned successfully on my LG GGW-H20L.All discs verified good employing ImgBurn. Within much less than 9 months, most discs are failing. Luckily caught these on sale. Applied about 10 or so with no coasters. Writes at 2.4x and takes about 35 minutes to write to full disc. None truly with the exception of the speed, but I went in realizing what I was buying. I would burn at 2x even if they had been rated at higher speed. Would be nice if these had been Lightscribe because the factory label is very plain and dull.
