cheap and handy purchase you get what you paid for; writing all over disc; These don't function properly with standalone DVD recorders, about 40% failure rate. When burned on DVD burner, about 50% of them cause skips. My initial time attempting out Verbatims. I've always applied Ridata or Taiyo Yudens. I'm sticking with these.

Just received and began on a second spindle, not a single coaster from either one, burned at 16X on a Dell stock DVD burner. (Since Newegg insists I fill in the con field and I have no complaint about the product, I'll mention that though my discs arrived in excellent condition, they had been packed only with crumpled heavy paper rather than peanuts which presumably accounts for the broken situations/discs some others have mentioned.)
