Verbatim DVD-R 4.7GB 16X Discs, 100-Pack Spindle

Not much to say. I bought them, they have all worked perfectly, not a single one has bombed and thats saying something since most other dvds I get bomb quite a bit. I would easily purchase them again and with that price I would highly recommend them to anyone that need a lot of high quality disks for cheap.

i was always using maxell's made in japan media until they disappeared from canadian market; surprisingly this made in taiwan has better burn quality, verbatim way to go!look for times roman font for Lock, Open on the top of case, they are better ones than arial fontit's said verbatim +r has marginally better quality than -r, but -r has slightly larger space, so you decide.

Ok this is what i paid for this 100pks spindle at ncix35.98 + tax -12 MIRnot too bad. made in Taiwan.The same spindle cost only 19.99+tax at my local major e-store during box week sale.Anyways, Verbatim was seldom on sale before. Now they are affordable and still reliable.But for your most important data, most ppl would suggest TY which doesn't cost too much nowadays.I've burned 15 discs of those and no bad burns.

These have been the best discs I've ever used, however I've yet to try Taiyo Yuden's as they are apparently even better.These Verbatim's keep pumping out reliable movie backups & only take under 4mins/burn! I love it since I have 2 burners & can pump out a dozen copies in less than an hour, but if I don't have time to test the disc & need to make sure it burns good I'll leave it at 8x just to be sure, but 16x burns have never given me trouble.The Datalife Plus discs by Verbatim don't scratch as easily as these ones, but they feel sturdy nonetheless & seem more scratch-resistant than your run-of-the-mill discs.I'll stick with Verbatim from now on for sure.

Why buy no name dvd brands when you can get very good quality burn with a reliable brand. Recommended

Burns very well, no coasters so far. Can burn at 18x with certain models, like the samsung. Quite a buy with the MIR

I purchased 300 of these during the boxing day. They weren't the less expensive oens but they work in everything I put them in unlike most other brands that some drives seems to have a hard time reading.

Verbatim seems to perform much better the HP, Ritek or Fuji Media, I had no issues with burning using this media and no issues playing it on 3 different dvd players.
