I wanted affordable memory to upgrade my GF's older Dell and this was just what I was seeking for. Installation was simple and swift. She only uses her laptop or computer for study and paper writing. This upgrade was definitely worth it. I advise the 1gb x two combo because this will maximize the upgrade. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you have an older Dell and want to maximize its efficiency, I recommend you start out appropriate here with some memory. Like I pointed out above, I used this to upgrade a 'work' pc. |

Price tag after rebate. Applied egg saver shipping which is advertized slower than UPS yet came to my door through USPS one day quicker None so far. Hopefully the sticks hold up. The mem was plug and play for an older HP media center m280n running Windows XP pro with a dual core three.00G processor. |

Undetermined: memory fit the slots fine. Caused memory errors when installed with existing Kingston 512k memory sticks in a Dell Dimension 4600. I don't know if it would have worked without any other memory, but the intent was to upgrade and that could not accomplished. Newegg was extremely gracious & beneficial with issuing my RMA & my refund of buy. Am about to order Kingston memory from Newegg now that I have received the refund. |

Straightforward install. Cheap. Trusted Not really fantastic for overclocking. If you try to overclock this ram you're almost certainly going to crash your system. If you are organizing on OC'ing, go with a greater RAM set such as OCZ. If you are working with this at stock settings there are no troubles whatsoever. |

Functions Perfectly in my G5 mac. Place it in and it recognized it ideal away. Hope that the Rebate performs out. Packaging wasn't that good. Shipping also took a lot longer than the Television I ordered on the same day from Newegg. it may possibly not be as quickly as some other brands but it brought me up to three gigs and that is more rapidly than 1 gig and for half the price tag I am content. |

No issues, pop them in and you are carried out. none When shopping for memory, I constantly get the fastest speed and most amount of memory per stick that my method can deal with. If I have four slots of duel channel memory I like to begin with two sticks and upgrade as required. If your motherboard supports 4+ GB of ram but you have a 32 bit operating program there is no sense in filling all the slots unless you upgrade to a 64 bit operating method that can use the added memory. I have not noticed much difference in efficiency between high-priced memory with heat spreaders and affordable value ram, and they both come with restricted lifetime warranties from the manufacturer. |

Certainly none. I installed this RAM in a technique that works usually with two x 1GB DDR400 from an additional brand. Windows instantly bluescreened. Memory tests indicated negative RAM. I RMA'ed the RAM (paying ű to ship it back with a tracking quantity), waited for the replacements to be shipped, and the replacements are also DOA. They are getting returned. Newegg client service was amicable and apologetic. They covered the return shipping for the second set of RAM. |

Purchased to upgrade a Dell Desktop for a non-profit agency that I volunteer at. User was complaining that the laptop or computer ran true slow. The pc was operating XP residence and because it only had 512mb of memory I figured adding a lot more would help, upgraded memory to 2gb, and the user calls me her hero! Functions like its supposed to. None Replaced a single 512MB stick in a Dell Dimension 2400. Along with a new graphics card (GeForce 6200, 256MB) totally revitalized a pathetically slow computer. Even installed Windows Vista (EPIC memory hog) and have only gotten close to full memory on Google Street View. Passed initial testing with flying colors and hasn't provided me any difficulty considering that. |

Hynix element chips... nuff said! Ưstar. no heat spreader incorporated. -1 egg. had to change from 166Mhz to 200 in the bios manually, and also set timings manually -1 Egg. I havent stressed this memory adequate to validate stability, as I've only had this for one day, but it seems to be fine, and it has Hynix element chips which is a large plus. I also have not overclocked this memory but i am willing to bet it would be far better than the two 1gb sticks of Corsair worth choose with the exact same timings that I already have installed.
