The frigging Computer w/ 512 MB memory would boot up to half an hour lengthy. With this two gig memory, the Computer now boots within 3 minutes, and can connect to the online whilst the anti virus and spyware system is updating. It's not substantially more affordable than DDR2 and DDR3s. Make certain you check your old memories compatibility if you want to add. I had to empty two slots for my old ones that didn't operate with this memory. But now I have much more space for future upgrade to a different 1.five gig, which I feel XP can recognize up to three.5G. It's a low cost easy way to revive old systems that can be applied for simpler job or run non 64 bit compatible games.

Ive had difficulties with my computer restarting. But it only happens when I play Globe of Warcraft. I applied to hold my computer system on at all instances but now I turn it off at night and throughout the day. This seemed to retain the challenge to a minimum. I'm fairly pleased I could upgrade my pc sufficient to continue playing the games I like with reasonable graphics.If you don't play games what so ever this ram is likely good.
