Its two gigs, its low cost, has heat spreaders, and most importantly IT JUST Functions. Stuck this kit in a biostar MCP6P M+ board with a Semprom 140 and no problems. none The memory I was going to acquire for my construct had sold out even though I was placing the order and I literally came across this and purchased it on the fly. So far no regrets

The memory just rocks. I prob shoulda looked for 1066 for my phenom but didn't feel about it.. Its so speedy I don't care. It worked proper off the bat, and was a drastic difference from 1gb of ddr2 400 Well I received some G.Ability 512mb of 667 and it was the coolest searching ram ever! this is just black with a small symbol on it.. But its not that much of a con.. I was just envious of my buyer's ramsinks. If you can acquire some amazing ram heatsinks then this would be pretty darn cool.. Otherwise performance worth is undoubtedly maximum bang for buck. I went from 28 second windows 7 boots to 12. its like push button and lamborghini effect.

Fantastic for the Cost IF YOU ARE Obtaining STABILITY/ BSOD Problems, Try SETTING YOUR TIMINGS TO 6-6-6-18. That solved all of my troubles. Wintech's site says it should be 5-5-five-15, CPU-Z reads it as five-5-5-18, but for me only 6-6-6-18 runs stable. My program is not overclocked. Memtest86+ did pass at the default 5-five-five-15 settings, but I kept BSODing and I couldn't run Firefox for much more than 15 minutes with no it crashing. I am not confident if this is a dilemma with the ram or my MB so I nonetheless gave 5 eggs, mainly because at these timings, the ram works good. I was acquiring tired of my 3 and a half year laptop, so I decided to go with a price range construct... nothing at all specific, AMD Athlon II 425, Gigabyte MA78LM-S2, this RAM, Radeon 4850 1 GB. Basically, quickly adequate. RAM prices have gone up, so I went with this RAM. I hadn't heard of Wintec prior to, and I was conscious that some Gigabyte mobos were picky about RAM, but these worked completely. I didn't genuinely test them also hard, but the certain set I got could hit 900 devoid of any additional voltage and also without loosening the timings. I let it run memtest for only 3 hours (I just wanted to get my game on), and they didn't get errors, so I just stopped the testing there. Unless I get a crash, I'll just assume the system is stable =)Oh, these also have heatspreaders. I doubt RAM really wants it, and I don't even know if these heatspreaders assistance, but they make handling the RAM easier, at least. None, genuinely. I got a little a lot more than advertised, so I'm pleased. I guess if you purchase this pondering it's crazy higher finish RAM, then you'll be disappointed at your overclock... but I feel you can inform this isn't the highest end RAM from the price. Wouldn't mind purchasing Wintec subsequent time. I wait for a earlier high finish graphics card to hit 贄, and that's when I create. For me, this RAM is much more than enough. (I usually go for value RAM, so this is a small superior. We can contemplate this to be higher end value RAM, correct? Or perhaps low finish "gamer" RAM, what ever that suggests.)

Affordable, does the job. Can do four-four-4-12 timings at 850~mhz. with about 2.08V. Not 1066, which has greater bandwidth with the exact same stock timings. General this is a fantastic buy, but its far from high efficiency, ddr2 with highest bandwidth you want some excellent vital ballistix

Ram was packaged nice, heatspreaders looked solid, worked without having any situation. I did run mine at a extremely slight overclock without having any problem ddr2 is getting pricey This was my initial time with this brand and it worked out effectively sufficient that i would attempt them once again. Just wish I had a motherboard that would let me see what they were capable of.

Plugs in and just functions wish it was 4GB for for this value (why did memory rates spike so considerably?) 2GB is essentially enough for WinXP for standard perform and gaming. Vista liked to eat a lot more, but Win7 seems to have trimmed down once more.

Cheapest 2gb DDR2 800. Getting some a lot more mojo out of a c2d e6550, p35 mobo process. Paired up with an older set of OCZ for 4gb at five-5-5-18. I was at five-5-5-15 prior to but it probably doesn't make any distinction It's two gig great if you want to upgrade a system a small bit. Word up.
