Hi, making PC's 5+ years. I pound 'em with Photoshop and stuff, no gaming. I shut off UI desktop eye-candy; 2 gigs and 512 megs on the graphics card operates for me. (Commit charge in XP proves it) Smallish files, all for net upload/viewing. Utilised the Wintec RAM ahead of - no issues.AMD loves low-cost RAM. None. Good heat spreader points on these. I like 'em. Black too, soooo sexy. LOL. Built a nice box making use of this RAM, Ubuntu ten.uh...a thing...LOL.As constantly quick trustworthy newegg rocks the world!

this is to update my earlier review of this item as i have ran CPU-Z on this set of memory. it is read as 400 MHz but its running at 266 MHz. don`t believe its a issue with my chips i think it has to do with the dell motherboard limiting the chips to 266MHz. even though on their web site it says it can run up to 400MHz memory.even in the bios it says they are 400MHz. none just wanted to let all you dell users be aware of this but they are nonetheless a vast improvement more than the 1 gig you probable have dell bios does not have anyway to bump up voltages or set anything only stock settings this sucks but the ram is incredibly excellent and you wont find 266MHz for less anyway so just go with these you wont be sorry.

Heat spreaders, BIOS detected right RAM settings. Passed a 24 hour SiSoft burn in. None Works excellent in my GIGABYTE GA-MA78LM-S2H (N82E16813128408) with an unlocked AMD 140 Sargas processor.

Relatively affordable memory option with superior critiques. Memory defective, returned (Newegg turned it about swiftly), new memory also defective. Sadly, drifted passed 30 day Newegg policy. Now stuck. I learned a lot about memory timing and settings trying to get this to function. The Gigabyte MA785G-UD3H board has all the adjustments required in the bios. I even slowed it down hoping it could function. Oh properly, I'll attempt returning it to WinTec to see if they will replace it. Perhaps the third time will be the charm.

- Low cost value- Good looks- Solid make- It works Both the item description on Newegg and the labels on the package claims 6400C5. But program BIOS, memory SPD and CPU-Z all recognize it as at C6 for DDR2ﴠMHz. It is only C5 @ 667MHz. Disappointing at least.

memory snapped appropriate in and my dell motherboard which is a foxcom board picked it up no probs running 4gigs on dual channel on a intel three. incredibly happy with this memory made a big difference from what came with the comp in the initial place incredibly quickly. and have been gaming really well would recomend to other people quick..... none however

I turned over this new create 3 days late and lost dollars mainly because of it. Im going FedEx.
