Typical DDR. Runs 400 MHz as described. Working flawlessly atm. 1st pack had one particular stick that was DOA. Soon after a peaceful RMA experience (thanks newegg!), I got a pack that is now operating flawlessly. Difficult to complain at bargain rates and older tech. Good to know DDR can nonetheless be had for a sensible price tag, even if it necessary some patience. This speed of RAM is on the expensive side, but this is the least expensive of them all. Was slightly worried as it's an off brand but I'm very satisfied! Slapped em in my wife's pre constructed HP and they were recognized instantly. Dual channel as well.Doubled her RAM and it's a huge difference. This speed of RAM is costly compared to DDRII. Effectively worth the money if you're updating an older Computer. |

Quite excellent price. A regional shop wanted to charge me just about ุ just for a single stick of 512Mb but didnt even have any in stock. Now my Compaq has 1.five gigs and performs good beneath heavy usage. Took a week to get. Quite difficult to shove into the socket. Came in a enormous envelope with small protection. Now I see how some individuals got damaged memory. I feel if it was sent in a small box as an alternative the rating for this memory would go closer to five stars. Dont be afraid to upgrade. My Compaq sr1720nx has a dual memory mode and memory desires to be added in pairs for peak efficiency. I left the two 256Mb sticks in and added the 2 512's. It took five minutes. When your personal computer runs out of ram it starts to use the challenging drive and this is poor. |
