cheep, and very good to expand to 8 gigs ram cant deal with overclocking :( when I overclock the motherboard just a little bit the ram becomes unstable and crashes. even with 8 gigs of ram nonetheless crashes at a three% OC ram is unstable wish I payed added funds for greater end ram and will probibly upgrade. its good for finishing a create when your low on cash but wish i didnt get four chips that crash OC'd or not

I bought yet another stick of this ram to run in dual channel. I am particularly pleased with the cost and efficiency. The heat spreader is a nice touch and looks wonderful. Uses a low voltage of 1.8 and it stays cool.With 1 stick my windows expertise index was rated at five.five. Running two sticks in dual channel brought it all the way up to 6.5. The initially stick i bought was 41 usd with totally free shipping. This time around it was 46 usd plus 6 in shipping even though it was listed as 3 for shipping. I had no troubles with shipping, not positive why some would take off eggs for this. I ordered and received my ram in 2 days.

Filled my PC with 8GB from 3GB 533Mhz and wow what a difference! Programs now launch nice and fast like they should. The heatsinks are good to have but serve little function. Windows 7 64-bit nonetheless utilizes much more resources than I'd like. After boot up about 3.5-four.5GB is already taken and I haven't launched a single program but. Good price for what you get.

Asked for two RMA's and was not given a hassle by Manufacturer. This has been the worst encounter i've ever had with memory. Very first, when i received the memory initially it would freeze my program 15 minutes right after logging on. I bought two modules to install on my program and though troubleshooting, i realized that if i only utilized 1 module (no matter which 1) it would not freeze up. I called the manufacturer and requeste and RMA. Received the memory and then the technique would not freeze but i would have intermittent crashes and technique was acting weird and the technique would refuse to boot up if specific drives were on particular SATA controllers. Thinking that i just had the memory RMA'd i began RMA'ing other components. I replaced CPU, motherboard, PSU and even HDD, none fixed issues. Windows 7 kept saying that memory was the difficulty so i called and RMA'd the memory once again and this time the boot up dilemma is gone, nonetheless i've had a few technique freeze ups, but can not duplicate right now i guess we'll see. My next step would probably be to obtain some unique memory and toss this 1. I will never ever purchase Wintec memory again. I'm not impressed with the corporation at all.I'm giving it 1 egg for rating because the technique will not let me give it , which is what i genuinely rate this memory as.

It is 2gb stick, has heat sink which is excellent for my Dell XPS pentium 4...this pc generates sufficient heat to develop steam! No errors, havent bench marked it, nor will I, but does as advertised, and was not DOA so Im happy Absolutely nothing so far I'll be buying four far more gb in the near future, should aid out for my e-mail server.
