it is western digital it has 320gb capacity right after just over a year the drive has gotten very noisy I have not had that with a western digital before I created a total backup of program expecting it to die soon no abuse has be inflicted on this drive at all it has a cooling fan (masscool) attached to it and I have under no circumstances had it over 50% complete

Can't go incorrect with a Western Digital. Excellent drive, great price tag, excellent reliability. None Black series has a 5 year warranty vs. the three with the Blue series. I would believe that the Blue series would be the "everyday, reputable drive for company and residential users" and would think that it would get a five year warranty as well.

Fantastic resolution for the value. Holds massive amounts of data compared to a 5.25" floppy disk! Substantially much more pricey than a Snickers bar, but that's not really a con given that the Snickers bar doesn't last as extended. A wonderful way to pick up the ladies!

Easy install, quiet, rapidly. 1 morning awoke to some unusual clicking sounds, found out they had been coming from the WD drive, powere3d off drive, came back from perform in the evening and identified out it was totally dead. Two eggs due to the premature demise of the drive. I have noticed some evaluations for this challenging drive not operating with windows 7 64 bit. I have not had any issues with this drive with xp property edition 32bit, vista 32bit or windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit. This drive runs really and has already outlasted the two other seagate drives I have. The coach is a small slow compaired to what is out now but still a great drive. . I do alot of videoing with my camcorder when the loved ones gets with each other for the holidays,etc. and when I put it on the laptop or computer and edit it. I have identified that western digital difficult drives hold up. seagate lasts possibly 6 months
