Western Digital Scopio Black 320GB 2.5" 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s 16Mb Notebook Hard Drive - OEM
Cons:none

Pros:Fast, quiet
Comment:
Replaced my 200GB 5400rpm toshiba on my HP DV6000, and i do notice significant performance boost when transferring large files. The WD seems to be more expensive than the Hitachi or Seagate, but I don't have the other drives to tell if it performs any better.

Cons:None

Pros:FAST!!!! Quiet

Very fast drive, almost the same speed as my 3.5" 1TB WD Black drive. I get max 106MB/s, min 50MB/s and avg 84MB/s transfer rate from HD tune. Windows XP boots up in under 35 seconds. Highly recommended!!!

I bought this hard disk about 2 months ago for my PS3 and its been performing beautifully since. Install and load times are also a bit faster than the original hard disk that comes with the PS3.

Western Digital Scopio Black 320GB 2.5" 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s 16Mb Notebook Hard Drive - OEM
Cons:n/a

Pros:Good price, compatible with PS3
Comment:
I Bought this for my PS3. I have had WD drives in the past with no problems. When backing up my PS3 to an external drive it took 1 hour 33 mins with the factory drive. after replacement with this drive backup was only 56 mins!!! (50% increase in read time) hopefully this may speed up load times for some games as well. Also so far ive had no extra heat issues as this is a 7200rpm drive and the factory ps3 is only 5400rpm.

Western Digital Scopio Black 320GB 2.5" 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s 16Mb Notebook Hard Drive - OEM
Cons:none noticed yet

Pros:Great price ($85 on sale) large capacity
Comment:
I bought this drive to fill the second hard drive bay on my Acer 8920 notebook. This drive is the same model as Acer uses as an OEM in this notebook, this is why I went with this one. It is noise and vibration free. I'm satisfied so far with it.This review is for the 5400rpm model. I chose the wrong drive when I wrote this review and don't know how to delete  this review???? Western Digital Scopio Black 320GB 2.5" 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s 16Mb Notebook Hard Drive - OEM
Cons:Heathumming

Pros:PriceSizespeed
Comment:
Purchased this for an upgrade for my macbook. Used Super Duper to mirror the original Hard drive. The Black definitely performs better. Boot ups are noticeably faster, as well as anything hard drive intensive. Highly recommended, but be aware that due to the increase in speed, there is also more heat.

Western Digital Scopio Black 320GB 2.5" 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s 16Mb Notebook Hard Drive - OEM
Cons:makes a little clicking noise in the first few days

Pros:high density, runs cool, high spindle speed and cheap
Comment:
Replaced my 5400rpm 120GB hitachi drive in my X61 tablet. The benefits are very apparent. Boots time significantly reduced. Although the higher spindle speed added a significant amount of vibration to my palm rest. Though if you use advanced power saving features to turn off hard drive when not in use. It's not much of an issue.
